The Apex36 sits at the top of OxyRevo's soft lying range. It holds 1.5 ATA, the highest working pressure OxyRevo builds into a soft chamber, and it opens the barrel out to a 36-inch diameter across a 90-inch length. Seven large double-layered windows are set into the top, the foot and both sides. On paper and in the room, this is the most chamber OxyRevo sells before you move to a stainless hard shell.

The trade for that size is weight. At 37 lbs the Apex36 is the heaviest soft lying chamber OxyRevo makes, about 4 lbs more than the 32-inch Apex and the 36-inch Elite. The shell is High Strength TPU with high-frequency heat-welded seams, and the cover comes in Black, Blue, Grey or White with OEM colours available. What 1.5 ATA Asks Of A Soft Chamber

Higher pressure in a fabric chamber puts the load on four things: the valve that sets the pressure, the glazing, the seams, and the gauges you read while you are sealed in. Here is how the Apex36 handles each one.

Pressure Converter, 1.2 To 1.5 ATA
A pressure adjustment converter sets the chamber to 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5 ATA with one press. OxyRevo's stated reason for the converter is ear comfort during the first sessions, so a new user can start a step or two below the ceiling and work up. Seven Windows, A Gauge And A Zipper Pull Within Reach

Sixty to ninety minutes is a long time in a tube, and the Apex36 is specified around that. Windows on four surfaces let daylight in from more than one angle, and OxyRevo's stated reason for that much glazing is a wide, transparent view with more light entering the chamber. A high-accuracy pressure gauge is fitted inside as well as outside, and a second zipper runs on the inside, so the occupant can open the chamber themselves.

The chamber is the same either way. What changes is what pressurizes and feeds it. The Pro version arrives as a single All-in-One Machine Unit measuring 27.56" × 13.78" × 29.53" and weighing 80 kg, with one press starting every function. The Standard version splits the same jobs across three units, each set up and started on its own, and it costs less and travels lighter. Both run a 10L oxygen concentrator, so no oxygen tanks are involved.

Every Way Out Works From Both Sides

The Apex36 is pressurized with filtered air. Internal pressure is held by the pressure valve and managed by the relief valves, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside as well as outside. Emergency valves are fitted for a fast exit, which OxyRevo puts at 30 seconds. Valve markings are burned in by UV laser so the labels stay readable for the life of the chamber.

No tanks. The oxygen concentrator produces oxygen continuously, so there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. Compressor filters are the only components needing routine replacement, every 6 to 12 months depending on use. Spare filters and fuses ship with the chamber, along with the oxygen mask, air and oxygen tubing and power cable.
Cooling is part of the machine set you choose. The Pro unit contains two cooling machines and a water container; the Standard version includes the ZLA01 air cooler. OxyRevo describes this system as removing humidity from the chamber and cooling the air, and it is electrically driven with no ice water and no Freon involved. Set your expectation this way: in a room with working air conditioning, the interior stays comfortable through a session.
The chamber is rated at ≤50 dB. OxyRevo's automatic pressure relief valves distribute airflow across the valves, which is what they credit for lowering release noise. The reason they give for developing those valves is people trying to sleep inside the chamber while the valves vented outside it.
