Hard Shell Lying Hyperbaric Chamber

OxyRevo Quest30 1.5 to 2.0 ATA Hard Hyperbaric Chamber

Every soft chamber OxyRevo builds stops at 1.5 ATA. The Quest30 is where the stainless steel range begins, and the reason to step into it is the pressure ceiling. Working pressure is 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0 ATA depending on the version you order, and the 2.0 ATA build uses thicker steel and reinforced components to hold it. A TPU shell cannot go there at any price.

The cabin is a horizontal cylinder, 89 inches long and 30 inches in diameter, with a large transparent door at one end and a second window at the other. You lie down on the mattress inside. That 30-inch diameter is the other half of the case for this model: it is the narrowest cabin in the hard range, and at 507 lbs it is the lightest hard chamber OxyRevo makes, roughly 66 lbs under the Quest36 and under 40% of the weight of the sitting Space60. If a hard chamber has to get down a hallway, through a doorway and into a spare room, this is the one that fits the most floor plans. Black or White at checkout, OEM colours available.

The Build

What Holding 2.0 ATA Costs In Engineering

Doubling atmospheric pressure inside a vessel someone is lying in changes what the vessel has to be. Four parts of the Quest30 exist because of that number: the shell, the glazing, the machine that feeds it, and what happens when the electricity stops.

🔨
Three Thicknesses Of Stainless, One Aluminium Ring
The chamber body is three sections of stainless steel of differing thickness welded together, with an external aluminium ring reinforcing the outside. OxyRevo's stated reason is pressure resistance without deformation over years of cycling. The 2.0 ATA version uses thicker steel and reinforced components than the 1.5 and 1.6 ATA builds. OxyRevo also describes the welding and splicing process that joins the metal to the polycarbonate as their latest generation.

🧭
A Window At Each End Of A 30-Inch Tube
Two transparent windows sit at the head and the foot of the cabin, in aviation-grade Bayer polycarbonate, double-layered. In a 30-inch cylinder that glazing does real work: you can see straight out of both ends of the chamber and daylight travels the length of it. OxyRevo's stated reason for the design is a wider field of view and less feeling of being closed in.
2 Double-Layered Windows
An Operating Unit With Published Numbers
The all-in-one unit that runs the chamber takes 110V or 220V and draws 1,400 to 1,700 watts. It moves 85 litres of air per minute through a dual air filter, carries two cooling machines and an oil-free compressor with a 10L oxygen concentrator, and measures 80 × 40 × 90 cm at 80 to 90 kg. Read those figures before you plan the room.
1,400–1,700 W
🛡
Power Cut, Door Sensor, 30-Second Valve
If the power drops, the power failure safety system depressurizes the chamber gradually and the door then lowers, so someone asleep inside can get out. A smart door sensor blocks the chamber from operating until the door is fully closed, with indicator lights inside and outside confirming it. The emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds. Timing runs 0 to 120 minutes automatically.

Inside The Quest30

A Closer Look

Head-on view through the circular transparent door of the OxyRevo Quest30 showing the mattress and cabin interior
The Cabin

89 Inches Long, 30 Inches Across, And You See Straight Out Of Both Ends

This is the whole entry. The door is the transparent end of the cylinder, so the thing you look through is also the thing you climb in past. Inside, the mattress runs the length of the cabin and the second window sits at the far end. The cabin is a fixed tube, which is the trade against a soft chamber: no inflation cycle, no cover to zip, and the shell is the same shape whether it is pressurized or not. Measure your access route before ordering. At 30 inches in diameter this is the friendliest hard chamber for a standard interior doorway, but the crate is larger than the chamber.

Controls

Two Control Panels, Two Screens, One Set Of Numbers

There is a control panel and a digital screen outside the chamber and another of each inside it. The person in the cabin and the person in the room read the same live values: temperature, humidity and oxygen purity, taken from high-precision sensors. From the internal panel the user can drive pressurization, oxygen delivery, lighting and cooling without anyone standing over them. A noise-free phone communication system connects inside to outside, so a conversation does not mean raised voices or a handheld radio. Oxygen purity from the 10L concentrator is rated 90 to 97%.

  • Internal and external control panels and display screens
  • Live temperature, humidity and oxygen purity readings on both screens
  • Phone communication system between inside and outside
  • Timing system, 0 to 120 minutes, automatic
  • 10L oxygen concentrator, 90 to 97% purity

Set The Ceiling Once, Then Work Up To It

Two versions ship. The 1.5 ATA build adjusts from 1.2 to 1.5 ATA. The 2.0 ATA build adjusts from 1.4 to 2.0 ATA on thicker steel and reinforced components. Either way the adjustable pressure switch lets you set the working level, and OxyRevo's stated reason for building the valve that way is protocol flexibility and comfort, so a new user can start low and step up as their ears settle. Analogue gauges are mounted on the shell alongside the digital readouts, inside and outside, with pressure relief valves and deflate valves on both sides. Pick the ceiling at checkout. It is determined by the steel, so it is not a setting you change later.

  • 1.5 ATA version, adjustable 1.2 to 1.5 ATA
  • 2.0 ATA version, adjustable 1.4 to 2.0 ATA
  • Working pressure listed as 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA in the specification
  • Internal and external pressure gauges, deflate valves and pressure relief valves
  • Emergency valve for pressure release in 30 seconds

Air & Comfort

What The Machine Beside The Chamber Is Doing For 90 Minutes

The all-in-one operating unit is one cabinet, 80 × 40 × 90 cm and 80 to 90 kg, holding the oil-free air compressor, the 10L oxygen concentrator, two cooling machines, an anion air purifier, an air sterilizer, the air filter and the humidity water container. It runs on 110V or 220V at 1,400 to 1,700 watts and pushes 85 litres of air per minute through a dual filter. OxyRevo describes the two cooling machines as removing humidity and cooling the interior, electrically driven with no ice water and no Freon to handle. Our practical expectation: in a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable. The anion generator captures 2.5 micron particles and the nano-water sterilizer addresses bacteria and odours, which is the part clinics and wellness centres ask about. An LED reading light runs inside the cabin.

The OxyRevo Hard Chamber Range

Four Stainless Chambers, Sorted By Room

All four are stainless steel, all four reach 2.0 ATA in their top version, and all four carry the same warranty and the same all-in-one operating unit. What separates them is the shape of the space they ask for and whether you lie down or sit up. The Quest30 is the smallest and lightest door into the range.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Pressure, first. OxyRevo's soft chambers top out at 1.4 or 1.5 ATA. The Quest30 is specified at 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0 ATA, and the 2.0 ATA version is built with thicker steel and reinforced components to hold it. After that, the differences are structural. The shell here is stainless steel where the soft chambers are High Strength TPU. The cabin is rigid, so there is no inflation cycle. You also get a large polycarbonate door, dual control panels and screens, a phone communication system, a smart door sensor and a power failure safety system. The trade is weight and permanence. A soft chamber packs down; this one weighs 507 lbs and stays where you put it.
Diameter, and only diameter. Both are 89 inches long, both run 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA, both have the same windows, panels, safety systems and operating unit. The Quest30 cabin is 30 inches across at 507 lbs. The Quest36 is 36 inches across at 573 lbs. Six inches of width is meaningful if you are broad through the shoulders, if you want to turn onto your side, or if a session involves a laptop or a book propped up. It is also 66 lbs more to move and a wider crate to get through the house. Pick the Quest30 when access or room size is the binding constraint, the Quest36 when interior room is.
The chamber itself is 89 in / 220 cm long and 30 in / 75 cm in diameter, which is the narrowest cabin in OxyRevo's hard range and clears a standard interior doorway more easily than anything else here. Plan the room around three things: the 89-inch run plus clearance at the door end for entry, floor space beside it for the operating unit at 80 × 40 × 90 cm, and the route in. The crated dimensions are larger than the chamber, and the crate arrives on a truck. Wheels are fitted at the base for positioning once it is inside, but at 507 lbs / 230 kg treat moving it as a planned job with help. Send us your access measurements before ordering and we will sanity-check them with you.
The all-in-one operating unit runs on 110V or 220V and draws 1,400 to 1,700 watts. On a 110V supply, 1,700 watts works out to about 15.5 amps, which is more than a 15A circuit will carry and well above the 12A continuous limit for one. Plan on a dedicated 20A circuit, or a 220V supply, where the same draw sits under 8 amps. The unit also moves 85 litres of air per minute through a dual air filter and carries two cooling machines, measuring 80 × 40 × 90 cm at 80 to 90 kg. Recovery For Athletes recommends having a licensed electrician confirm the circuit, the breaker and the outlet before installation. It is a small cost against a 507 lb chamber.
Two options at checkout. The 1.5 ATA version adjusts from 1.2 to 1.5 ATA. The 2.0 ATA version adjusts from 1.4 to 2.0 ATA and is built with thicker steel and reinforced components to carry the higher pressure. The specification lists working pressure as 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA across the range. The important point: the ceiling is set by the steel, so it cannot be upgraded after the fact. If there is any chance you will want 2.0 ATA later, order it now. Whether a given pressure is appropriate for you is a question for your physician, and we do not make recommendations about protocols.
OxyRevo's hard chambers meet CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485 standards. Read the first one precisely: it certifies the machinery; medical device approval is a separate process, and we do not present the CE mark as one. ISO13485 is a quality management system standard for the manufacturer.
No technician. OxyRevo builds these for owner installation, and the chamber can be run from inside or outside using either control panel. From the internal panel the user manages pressurization, oxygen delivery, lighting and cooling on their own. Both sides have a display screen and a pressure gauge, and the phone system connects them. Two caveats we will state plainly: have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit before installation, and talk to your physician about whether hyperbaric sessions are appropriate for you. That second question is medical and it is not ours to answer.
The all-in-one unit ships with two cooling machines and a humidity water container. OxyRevo's own description of that system is that it removes humidity and cools the chamber interior, giving dry, clean air, and that it is electrically driven with no ice water and no Freon. That is OxyRevo's language, and we are quoting it as theirs. Our own expectation is the conservative one: in a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable. We would not plan on 90-minute sessions in an unconditioned room in August.
Output capacity. The 10L concentrator that ships with the chamber delivers up to 10 litres of oxygen per minute at 90 to 97% purity. The 20L delivers up to 20 litres per minute, for situations where a higher and steadier flow is wanted. If you go to 20L we recommend pairing it with the BIBS mask upgrade. A BIBS mask will physically work on the 10L, but the flow can feel thin through it during a session. Contact us for current availability and pricing on either upgrade for the Quest30.
The power failure safety system depressurizes the chamber automatically and gradually, and once pressure is released the door lowers. OxyRevo's stated reason for building it that way is a user who is asleep inside when the power cuts. Separately, the emergency valve releases pressure in about 30 seconds, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from both inside and outside. The smart door sensor works the other direction: it prevents the chamber from operating at all until the door is fully closed, with indicator lights inside and out.
The chamber ships with an anion air purifier and an air sterilizer in the operating unit. The anion generator disperses ions that capture 2.5 micron particles (PM2.5), and the nano-water sterilizer works on airborne bacteria and odours. OxyRevo's position is that this reduces the need for frequent manual cleaning, which is why the feature exists for clinics and wellness centres running back-to-back sessions. For the oxygen mask, wipe it down with rubbing alcohol between users. If multiple people share the chamber, a fresh mask per user is worth asking us about.
The oxygen concentrator produces oxygen continuously, so there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. Compressor filters are the only components needing routine replacement, every 6 to 12 months depending on use. Spare filters and fuses ship with the chamber. The compressor is oil-free, so there is no oil change in the schedule.
A typical mild hyperbaric session runs 60 to 90 minutes, 4 to 5 times a week. The common pattern is a block of 40 sessions, then a week off before the next block. The chamber's timing system covers 0 to 120 minutes automatically. Inside, with the LED reading light and 89 inches of cabin, people read, listen to something or sleep.
That varies by individual and is a question for your physician. As a general starting point for wellness use, plan an initial block of 20 sessions and reassess. Recovery For Athletes does not make claims about outcomes from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
A pressure change in the ears as the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, similar to a plane taking off or descending. Swallowing or yawning clears it, and ears commonly adjust after the first few sessions. Starting at the lower end of your version's range and stepping up is there for exactly this reason: 1.2 ATA on the 1.5 build, 1.4 ATA on the 2.0 build.
Any loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
Talk to your physician before starting, particularly with any ear, sinus or lung condition. We are not in a position to tell you what hyperbaric sessions will or will not do to you, and we will not repeat claims we cannot stand behind. What we can describe is the equipment. The chamber is pressurized with filtered air, internal pressure is regulated by the pressure valve and the relief valves, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside. The emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds. Pressure is displayed on gauges and screens on both sides of the shell, the windows are double-layered Bayer polycarbonate, the door sensor blocks operation until the door is closed, and the power failure system depressurizes and opens the chamber if the electricity stops.
Whether a child should use a hyperbaric chamber is a decision for their physician, and an adult should be operating and supervising every session. We make no claims about hyperbaric oxygen therapy for children or for any condition. On the equipment side: the chamber can be fully controlled and opened from the outside panel, the two end windows give a clear view of the cabin from the room, and the phone communication system keeps a conversation going for the whole session.
Yes. We point customers to Hyperbaric Excellence, which runs both personal and professional certification programs. Contact us before you enroll and we will pass on a discount. If you are ordering for a clinic or a wellness centre, training the staff who will run the chamber is worth budgeting for alongside the equipment.
6 to 8 weeks. Roughly 4 weeks for production and testing, then 4 weeks for ocean shipping. Vessel tracking is provided; after US customs clearance you receive a truck tracking number and the delivery team schedules the drop-off with you. Expedited shipping cuts about 2 weeks off the total.
A 1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, plus lifetime technical support at no cost. If a quality issue arises in the warranty period and can be repaired, OxyRevo supplies replacement parts free and provides step-by-step repair guidance by photo and video. If it cannot be repaired, they send a new machine at no cost.
Standard Delivery brings the crated chamber to your location and you handle unloading, uncrating and moving it into position. White Glove Delivery & Chamber Education is full service: unloading, setup and cleanup are done for you, and the team walks you through operating the chamber. On a 507 lb stainless chamber, crated heavier still, be honest with yourself about the first option. Standard delivery means you are sourcing the equipment and the people to get a quarter-ton crate off a truck and down a hallway.
  • Transparent Windows at Each End – OxyRevo’s unique design includes two large transparent windows at the head and foot of the chamber. Made with aviation-grade, double-layered materials, they provide a wide field of view and reduce claustrophobia for a more comfortable experience.

  • Advanced Welding Process – Our latest welding and splicing techniques fuse metal and polycarbonate with precision. Reinforced with an external aluminum ring and composed of three stainless steel sections of varying thickness, the chamber ensures long-lasting strength and resistance to deformation under pressure.

  • Dual Control Panels and Screens – The chamber includes both internal and external control panels, allowing users to operate it independently. Dual digital screens display real-time temperature, humidity, and oxygen purity, powered by high-precision sensors.

  • Power Failure Safety System – In the event of a power outage, the chamber automatically depressurizes slowly and safely. The door will then lower, allowing easy exit even if the user is asleep.

  • Smart Door Sensor – A built-in sensor prevents operation unless the chamber door is fully closed. Indicator lights inside and outside confirm secure locking, adding another layer of safety.

  • Adjustable Working Pressure – The OxyRevo pressure valve allows users to set the pressure from 1.3 to 2.0ATA with ease. This flexibility supports various HBOT protocols and comfort levels, making treatment safer and more personalized.

  • Efficient Air Cooling System – The powerful built-in air conditioner removes humidity and cools the chamber interior, providing clean and dry air. Electrically driven, the system requires no Freon or ice water, and is entirely maintenance-free.

  • Anion Air Purification and Sterilization – A built-in anion generator purifies the air by removing PM2.5 particles. Paired with nano-water sterilization, the system kills bacteria and odors—ideal for commercial environments like clinics and wellness centers.

Great Entry Level

"I was new to hyperbaric therapy and wanted to start with something simple. The Quest30 is ideal. It's comfortable inside, not too loud, and the pressure feels great. I’ve already noticed a reduction in joint pain and mental fog. It’s not as roomy as larger models, but for solo sessions, it does the job really well."

Perfect for Small Space

"I live in a small apartment, so I needed something compact but effective. The Quest30 fits perfectly in my bedroom and is super easy to operate by myself. I’ve been using it 4–5 times a week for about a month now, and I’m sleeping better and waking up with way more energy. It’s been an amazing addition to my wellness routine."

Q&A

can a patient choose to sit upright in the Chamber
Hi there. This unit is not intended for sitting. For a chamber comfortable for sitting, we recommend the OxyRevo Space60.
Does the quest30 come with the all in one kit? Or is that a separate item
Yes, the Quest30 is an all-in-one unit so you do not need to buy the additional kit
