Hard Shell Lying Hyperbaric Chamber

OxyRevo Quest36 1.5 to 2.0 ATA Hard Hyperbaric Chamber

The Quest36 is the Quest30 opened up. Same 89-inch stainless steel cylinder, same pressure ceiling of 2.0 ATA, six more inches across the barrel: 36 inches of interior diameter where the Quest30 gives you 30. Those six inches are the whole reason this model exists. They are what lets a broad-shouldered adult lie flat without a wall against a shoulder, and what lets anyone roll onto their side partway through a 90-minute session and stay there.

Six inches of girth cost 66 lbs of steel. The Quest36 weighs 573 lbs / 260 kg against the Quest30's 507 lbs, and it comes on wheels. The shell is stainless steel with large double-layered Bayer polycarbonate windows at the head and the foot ends, and there is a control panel and a display screen on the inside as well as the outside. Two pressure versions sell at checkout, 1.5 ATA adjustable from 1.2 and 2.0 ATA adjustable from 1.4, and two colourways, black or white.

The Build

What A Wider Barrel Has To Carry

A 36-inch cylinder holds more air than a 30-inch one at the same length, and every pound of pressure inside it pushes on more surface. Four parts of the Quest36 answer for that: the shell, the glazing, the two control positions, and what happens when the power goes out.

Three Steel Sections, One Aluminium Ring
The chamber body is three stainless steel sections of differing thickness welded together, with an external aluminium ring reinforcing the outside. OxyRevo's stated reason for building it this way is pressure resistance without deformation over time. Their welding and splicing process is what bonds the metal to the polycarbonate at the window ends. The 2.0 ATA version uses thicker material than the 1.5 and 1.6 ATA builds.
573 lbs / 260 kg
🧭
Bayer Polycarbonate At Both Ends
The windows are aviation-grade polycarbonate from Bayer, double-layered, and they are set into the head end and the foot end of the barrel. OxyRevo's stated reasons for the double layer are service life and a wider field of view, which they connect to claustrophobia. On a 36-inch barrel the head-end window is what you look through for the whole session.
Double-Layered
📱
Two Control Positions, One Phone Line
There is a control panel and a digital display screen inside the chamber and another set outside. Precision sensors feed both screens with internal temperature, humidity and oxygen purity. A phone communication system connects the person inside to whoever is outside, so nobody has to shout through steel. Pressure gauges and deflate valves are fitted on both sides of the shell.
Inside & Outside
🔒
Power Failure And Door Sensor Logic
If mains power drops, the chamber depressurizes gradually on its own and the door lowers once pressure has released. OxyRevo's stated reason for that sequence is a user who has fallen asleep. A smart door sensor blocks operation until the door is fully closed, with indicator lights inside and outside confirming it, and the emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds.

Inside The Quest36

A Closer Look

The Six Inches

36 Inches Across, And That Is The Point

Ninety minutes is a long time to hold one position. In a 30-inch cylinder a large adult lies flat, arms in, and mostly stays that way. At 36 inches there is girth to bend a knee up, roll onto a hip, or put an arm out to the side. OxyRevo's own description of the Quest36 is that it gives ample space for one adult and a child, and points the model at athletes, larger individuals, or two users. The length is unchanged at 89 inches, so the extra room is all in the cross-section. An LED reading light is fitted inside, and the amber interior lighting in this photograph is the chamber's own.

Running It

Every Function Reachable From Inside The Cabin

The internal control board handles pressurization, oxygen supply, lighting, cooling and dehumidification from inside the chamber, so a solo user starts and finishes a session without anyone standing over the shell. The digital screens read out oxygen purity, internal temperature and humidity live, on both the inside and the outside panel. The timing system runs 0 to 120 minutes automatically. Oxygen purity from the 10L concentrator is rated 90 to 97 percent, and the oxygen mask is in the box.

The Version You Order Sets The Range, The Valve Sets The Session

Two pressure builds sell here. The 1.5 ATA version adjusts down to 1.2, and the 2.0 ATA version adjusts down to 1.4, and the published working pressures for the model are 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 ATA. OxyRevo describes their pressure valve as exclusive to their chambers, adjusted by twisting it within the version's range, with gradual progression as their reason for building it that way. The 2.0 ATA build uses thicker material to hold the higher figure. Analogue gauges on the shell read pressure independently of the digital screens, inside and outside.

  • 1.5 ATA version adjustable from 1.2; 2.0 ATA version adjustable from 1.4
  • Published working pressures 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA
  • Chamber pressurized with filtered air
  • Pressure relief valves and internal and external gauges
  • Emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds

You Will Be Looking At This Every Day

A 573 lb steel cylinder 89 inches long is furniture once it is in the room, and you are looking at it every day whether you are in it or not. Both colourways are photographed here: white above, black in this frame. The published chamber colour is white with OEM available, and black and white are the two options at checkout. Clinics and studios that need the shell to match a scheme can ask about OEM colour before the order goes to production, which is worth doing early given the build window.

The OxyRevo Hard Chamber Range

Four Steel Chambers, Two Body Positions

All four are stainless steel with Bayer polycarbonate glazing, all four run on filtered air with a 10L concentrator, and all four carry the same warranty and the same 6 to 8 week lead time. What separates them is whether you lie down or sit up, and how much room you get once you are in. The Quest36 is the wide lying option.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Interior diameter and weight. Both are 89 inches / 220 cm long, both are stainless steel, both publish working pressures of 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA, and both use the same all-in-one operating unit and the same included equipment. The Quest30 is 30 inches in diameter and 507 lbs / 230 kg. The Quest36 is 36 inches in diameter and 573 lbs / 260 kg. Six inches of girth, 66 lbs of steel. The question to answer before you choose is how wide the user's shoulders are and whether they want room to change position during a 90-minute session.
We will give you the specifications and let you compare them yourself. What the Quest36 publishes: a welded stainless steel shell in three thicknesses with an external aluminium ring, double-layered Bayer polycarbonate windows at both ends, control panels and digital screens inside and outside, a phone communication system, a smart door sensor, a power-failure depressurization system, an emergency valve rated at 30 seconds, and CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485.
The operating unit runs at 110V or 220V, drawing 1,400 to 1,700W, and moves 85 litres of air per minute through a dual air filter and two cooling machines. The unit itself measures 80 × 40 × 90 cm and weighs 80 to 90 kg, and the power cable ships with it. Because draw sits in that 1.4 to 1.7 kW band and the chamber will run for 60 to 90 minutes at a stretch, Recovery For Athletes recommends having a licensed electrician confirm the circuit before installation. They will tell you whether the outlet you have in mind is on a circuit that can carry it continuously, and whether a dedicated line makes sense for your room. Ask us for the manual ahead of delivery if your electrician wants to see it.
The chamber is 89 in / 220 cm long and 36 in / 90 cm in diameter, weighs 573 lbs / 260 kg, and is fitted with wheels so it can be positioned once it is inside. Plan clear floor at the door end for entry and exit, and space beside the chamber for the operating unit, which is 80 × 40 × 90 cm. Getting it in is the part to think about before you order: measure your doorways, hallway turns and any stairs. White Glove Delivery & Chamber Education exists for exactly this, and on a crated steel chamber of this weight it earns its line item.
Two builds sell at checkout: 1.5 ATA, adjustable from 1.2 to 1.5, and 2.0 ATA, adjustable from 1.4 to 2.0. The published working pressures for the model are 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 ATA. The 2.0 ATA build uses thicker material to hold the higher pressure, and it costs more. Both are set with the pressure valve, which OxyRevo describes as exclusive to their chambers and which adjusts anywhere within the range of the version you buy. Which pressure is appropriate for you is a conversation for your physician, and it cannot be changed after the chamber is built, so decide before you order.
OxyRevo's own description says the Quest36 provides ample space for one adult and a child and lists two users as a use case. That is their statement about the interior, and we are passing it on as theirs. Practically, at 36 inches across and 89 inches long it is a single-occupant chamber with room to spare for most adults, and the operating unit supplies one oxygen mask. If you are planning on two occupants, message us first and we will get the factory's position in writing, and talk to your physician about supervision.
Black or White at checkout. The published chamber colour is white with OEM available, so a clinic or studio can ask about a custom shell colour. There is a photograph of the black colourway on this page. Colour has no effect on the specification, the pressure range or the price.
No technician is required to run it. OxyRevo builds these chambers for owner operation, from the internal control board or the external one, and the internal board covers pressurization, oxygen supply, lighting, cooling and dehumidification. The one trade we do recommend involving is a licensed electrician, to confirm the circuit before installation. Whether hyperbaric sessions are appropriate for you is a separate question, and one for your physician.
The all-in-one operating unit ships with two cooling machines and a humidity water container, and the internal control board operates cooling and dehumidification from inside. OxyRevo's language for the system is that it removes humidity and cools the chamber interior, and that it is electrically driven with no ice water and no Freon. That is their description and we are reporting it as theirs. Set your expectation this way: in a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable, and we would not plan long summer sessions in an unconditioned garage. The screens show internal temperature and humidity live if you want to watch it.
6 to 8 weeks — roughly 4 weeks for production and testing, then 4 weeks for ocean shipping. Vessel tracking is provided; after US customs clearance you receive a truck tracking number and the delivery team schedules the drop-off. Expedited shipping cuts about 2 weeks.
Standard Delivery brings the crated chamber to your location and you handle unloading, uncrating and moving. White Glove Delivery & Chamber Education is full service — unloading, setup and cleanup — and the team walks you through operating the chamber. At 573 lbs of chamber, with an 80 to 90 kg operating unit alongside it, White Glove is the option we would put on this order.
1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, plus lifetime technical support at no cost. If a quality issue arises in the warranty period and can be repaired, OxyRevo supplies replacement parts free and provides step-by-step repair guidance by photo and video. If it cannot be repaired, they send a new machine at no cost.
OxyRevo's hard chambers carry CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485. Read that precisely: the CE mark here covers machinery and is a separate thing from medical device approval, and neither certification says anything about clinical outcomes.
Yes. We point customers to Hyperbaric Excellence for their personal and professional certification programs. Contact us before enrolling and we will pass on a discount. If you take White Glove Delivery, the chamber education session on the day covers operating this specific unit.
Output. The 10L concentrator that ships with the chamber delivers up to 10 litres of oxygen per minute; the 20L upgrade delivers up to 20. The 20L exists for people who want a higher, steadier flow rate at pressure. If you take the 20L, take the BIBS mask upgrade with it — the BIBS mask will physically work on the 10L, but breathing through it can feel like there is not enough flow behind it. Either way, purity is rated 90 to 97 percent.
OxyRevo's hard chambers include an anion air purifier and a nano-water air sterilizer in the operating unit. OxyRevo states the anion generator captures 2.5 micron particles (PM2.5) and that the nano-water sterilizer works on bacteria and odours, which is their reason for pointing this at clinics and high-traffic wellness spaces. Their guidance is that this reduces the need for frequent cleaning. The one thing to clean by hand is the oxygen mask, with rubbing alcohol, and wipe down the interior surfaces between users as you would any shared equipment.
The oxygen concentrator produces oxygen continuously, so there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. Compressor filters are the only components needing routine replacement, every 6 to 12 months depending on use. Spare filters and fuses ship with the chamber, and the humidity water container needs emptying as part of normal use.
A typical mild hyperbaric session runs 60 to 90 minutes, 4 to 5 times a week. The common pattern is a block of 40 sessions, then a week off before the next block. The chamber's timing system covers 0 to 120 minutes and runs automatically, and the LED reading light and the head-end window are there for what you do with the time.
That varies by individual and is a question for your physician. As a general starting point for wellness use, plan an initial block of 20 sessions and reassess. Recovery For Athletes does not make claims about outcomes from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
A pressure change in the ears as the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, similar to a plane taking off or descending. Swallowing or yawning clears it, and ears commonly adjust after the first few sessions. Starting at the lower end of your version's range, 1.2 or 1.4 ATA, is the reason the pressure valve adjusts.
Any loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
Talk to your physician before starting, particularly with any ear, sinus or lung condition, and that goes double for a child, where the decision belongs to their physician and an adult should be operating and supervising every session. We make no claims about hyperbaric oxygen therapy for children or for any condition. On the equipment side: the chamber is pressurized with filtered air, internal pressure is regulated by the pressure valve and the relief valves, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside. The emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds, the door sensor blocks operation until the door is fully closed, a power cut triggers gradual automatic depressurization followed by the door lowering, and the phone communication system stays open between the person inside and whoever is outside.
  • Transparent Windows at Each End – OxyRevo chambers feature large transparent windows at the head and foot ends. Made with aviation-grade, double-layered materials, they provide a wider field of view and reduce claustrophobia, enhancing user comfort.

  • Advanced Welding Process – Our welding and splicing techniques bond metal and polycarbonate seamlessly. The exterior is reinforced with an aluminum ring for added strength and durability. The chamber body is composed of three stainless steel panels of varying thickness, ensuring superior pressure resistance without deformation over time.

  • Dual Control Panels and Screens – Each chamber includes control panels inside and outside, allowing users to operate it independently. Dual digital screens display internal temperature, humidity, and oxygen purity via precision sensors.

  • Power Failure Safety System – The safety system automatically depressurizes the chamber slowly in the event of a power outage. Even while users are asleep, the system ensures safety, and the door drops open after pressure is released.

  • Smart Door Sensor – To prevent misuse, the chamber features a smart sensor that only allows operation when the door is fully closed. Indicator lights inside and outside add a visual confirmation of safe operation.

  • Adjustable Working Pressure – The OxyRevo-exclusive pressure valve lets users adjust the chamber to 1.3/1.5/1.8/2.0ATA—or any custom level—with the twist of a valve. This enables gradual and personalized progression through HBOT protocols.

  • Efficient Air Cooling System – The high-powered air cooling unit removes humidity and cools the chamber interior. It delivers a cleaner, drier, and more comfortable experience, especially in warmer months. Electrically powered, it requires no ice water, Freon, or maintenance.

  • Anion Air Purification and Sterilization – Built-in anion technology removes PM2.5 particles for improved air quality. A nano-water sterilizer eliminates bacteria, odors, and viruses, making it ideal for clinics and high-traffic settings.
