Power Plate grades it Commercial. The copy this page replaces said Consumer, and that was an error we have corrected. Nothing about the specification supports a home grading: 373 lb, a 500 lb load rating, White Glove installation and a console built around coach-led programming. People do put them in home gyms, but the grade on the spec sheet is Commercial.

25 to 50 Hz, adjustable in 1 Hz increments, which is 26 selectable frequencies. Power Plate calls this the greatest vibration range of any Power Plate model. The pro5, pro5HP and pro7HC share the same band; the my8 covers 30-45 Hz and the my5 covers 30-40 Hz. Amplitude is published only as Low or High, with no millimetre figure.

500 lbs / 227 kg, published as a specification row on Power Plate's own page and carried at 500 lb on the comparison chart. The pro5HP and pro7HC match it. The pro5 below is rated to 400 lb.

Up to nine minutes of continuous vibration. Power Plate's comparison chart gives the pro8 time selections in 15 second increments up to that ceiling, while the specification block on its product page prints the pro5's pattern of 30, 45 or 60 seconds. The chart is the higher source and it is the one we follow. If the exact increment matters to your programming, ask us to confirm it before you order.

Multidirectional cables integrated into the column, with two handles and variable electronic resistance. Power Plate states you choose from three precise preset resistance settings at the push of a button, with no manual adjustment required. They are also fitted to the my8 and the pro7HC, and they are not available on the pro5 or the pro5HP.

White Glove delivery and installation, proMotion handles in a set of two, the proMotion Cable Extension Kit, a strap set of two, a rubber mat, instructions for use, dust covers for the column and the platform, and the power cord. The extension kit is a recent addition and does not appear on the older list this page replaces.

No. A remote is not on Power Plate's included list for the pro8, and the comparison chart marks the pro8 as having no remote control. A Remote Control tile does appear in Power Plate's shared feature tiles, along with a Portable tile on a 373 lb machine. Both are site-wide boilerplate. The touchscreen is the control.

Power Plate does not say. The pro8 page claims an integrated LCD touchscreen and publishes no size, no resolution and no operating system. The pro7HC page does publish those figures for its own console. If your specification needs a screen size in writing for the pro8, ask us and we will get it from the rep.

Yes. Power Plate publishes connectivity as a heart rate display that syncs with Myzone and compatible Bluetooth devices. No chest strap or armband is listed among the included items, so bring your own compatible device.

38 x 44 x 61 in. / 95 x 113 x 154 cm at 373 lb / 169 kg, with a 38 x 33 x 12 in. / 95 x 84 x 31 cm platform. Power Plate's chart and its product page agree on all of it. Packaged weight is not published, so ask us for the crate figure if a lift or a service elevator is involved.

Power Plate publishes no power supply rating, no nominal wattage and no certification list for the pro8. The pro7HC is the only machine in this group for which it prints those figures. For a commercial submittal that needs an electrical spec in writing, ask us and we will get one from the rep.

White Glove, with delivery and installation included by Power Plate, on a freight appointment. At 373 lb and 44 in. deep it is not a two-person carry up a staircase, so walk the route before the date and tell us about anything narrow.

In the United States, 3 years hardware, 1 year electronics, 1 year labor - the same term as the pro5, pro5HP and pro7HC.

Both run 25-50 Hz in 1 Hz steps. The pro5 has a handled column, a 34 x 30 in. plate, a 400 lb rating and a button display, at 298 lb. The pro8 adds the touchscreen with video, the proMotion cables, heart rate connectivity and a 500 lb rating, on a bigger 38 x 33 in. plate, at 373 lb. If the room programs sessions on screen or trains clients through the cables, the pro8 earns the gap.

The comparison chart gives both machines the same frequency band, the same 500 lb rating, the same 373 lb weight and the same 38 x 44 x 61 in. dimensions. The pro7HC is the white, healthcare-room build, with its own console specification and a published certification list. The pro8 is the black commercial build with the proMotion Cable Extension Kit in the box. Choose on the room, and ask us if you need the two specification sheets side by side.
