Sports Attack Aerial Attack Football Machine w/ Cart Clamp

The Sports Attack Aerial Attack Football Machine w/ Cart Clamp is the Aerial Attack football machine ordered with the universal cart clamp, which fixes the throwing head to a cart post. Legs are not included with this configuration. The clamp fits round or square cart posts from 2 1/2 in. to 4 in. across. The head still throws right-footed deep spiral punts that turn over, end-over-end kickoffs, and long and short passes to any location on the field. It arrives fully assembled, and the cart carries all 124 lbs from the equipment room to the field.

The machine goes where the cart goes. With the head clamped to the post, there are no legs to socket and unsocket at either end of practice.

How it works

The clamp is the only part of this configuration that differs from the legged Aerial Attack. The head, the cradle and the frame are the same hardware, ordered for a cart.

Loosen the lever clamp to tilt the wheels, locate the head where the drill needs it and lock it there. Elevation changes are quick, and the head pivots instantly in any direction from wherever the cart is parked.

Controls

Set the head once, run the whole period

The controller stays accessible and visible on the machine, mounted safely away from the throwing wheels. With the head clamped to a cart post the operator works from one spot: loosen the lever clamp, tilt the wheels to the elevation the drill needs, lock it and start feeding the cradle.

  • Offensive drills: deep passes, coming to the ball, sideline (out), curl (hook) and slant.
  • Kicking game: squib kicks, pooch kicks, onside kicks, punt return, kickoff return and long punts.
  • Defensive drills: interception, tip and harassment drills, versus zone defenses, prevent and the last two plays of the game.
  • Throwing wheel guards cover the wheels while the machine runs.
  • The head locks in when a drill needs the same throw repeated.

The clamp that carries the machine

The universal cart clamp mounts the throwing head to a cart post and holds it there through transport, practice and storage. It takes a round or square post of 2 1/2 in. to 4 in., and the post stands no taller than 34 in. with the stand on the ground. Only the AC model takes the clamp. Order this version when the machine already has a cart to live on; order the legged version when it needs its own tripod base.
