Compact Indoor Traditional Sauna

SunRay Aston 1 Person Indoor Traditional Sauna

The SunRay Aston 1 Person Indoor Traditional Sauna is a compact traditional sauna in natural Canadian cedar, heated by a 4.5 kW Harvia electric heater. At 54 inches wide, 36 deep and 80 tall, it fits against a wall in a basement, a spare room or the corner of a home gym. Aston Questions

Frequently asked questions

One or two. The interior measures 50 W x 32 D x 72 H in., with a single side bench and an integrated ergonomic backrest.
The cabin is 54 in. wide x 36 in. deep x 80 in. tall, so it stands close to a wall, with room left for the door to swing open. It is built for indoor use, and the boxes fit through any doorway 24 inches or wider.
Yes. The 4.5 kW Harvia electric heater is part of the sauna, not a separate purchase, and it ships with its stones. Also included: tempered glass, an ergonomic backrest, a ventilation system, a cask and spoon, a hygrometer and sand timer, and an upgraded door handle.
Up to 180°F. The Harvia heater fitted to the Aston is engineered to reach that temperature.
With a water-soluble cleaning solution suitable for unfinished wood. Cleaning the cedar interior that way keeps the cabin within its warranty terms.
A dedicated 220-240V circuit at 30 amps, 50/60Hz, with the heater drawing 4,500 watts. Sauna heater wiring should be run by a licensed electrician.
Delivery is free curbside via freight to the 48 contiguous states, with free delivery damage insurance included. The freight carrier contacts you 24 to 48 hours ahead to set a day and time Monday through Friday inside a 4-hour window. The sauna arrives strapped to a pallet on a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who unloads to your curbside or driveway only. When the driver unloads, inspect the boxes and note any scratches, dents or scuff marks on the delivery receipt.
SunRay backs the Aston with 7 years on the structure (the wooden cabin and glass) and 1 year on all parts, including the heater and electronics. Recovery For Athletes is an authorized SunRay dealer.
About two hours. The pre-built panels lock together with two people and a screwdriver, and no special tools or contractor are needed.
With the cask and spoon that ship with the cabin. The heater holds stones; ladling water over them turns it to steam, which is how you raise humidity in a traditional sauna. The wall-mounted thermo-hygrometer shows you both the temperature and the humidity level, so you can work out how much water gets you where you want to be.
