Zero Gravity Sound Therapy Chair
Sound and vibration for full-body relaxation. The Lounger is a zero-gravity recliner with audio hardware built into the frame. Speakers called SoundHearts are positioned through the chair so the audio reaches your whole body at once, and Therabody's name for the combined system is TheraSound Technology. The idea is that you feel the audio as much as you hear it.
It is the only piece of furniture Therabody makes. In the upright position the chair measures 45 in x 30 in x 49 in; reclined into zero gravity it stretches to 67 in x 30 in x 28 in, with the knees and feet sitting slightly above the heart. Seating positions adjust across that range from an easy-to-access control panel on the chair.
The system
Four parts make up the Lounger: the recline geometry, the audio hardware, the content it plays and what else you can plug into it.
The detail
Everything below is drawn from the product's own specification and feature tabs.
A closer look
The zero-gravity position is the one the chair is built around. Reclined, the footprint changes from 45 x 30 x 49 inches upright to 67 x 30 x 28 inches, with your knees and feet settling slightly above the heart and your weight spread along the whole frame. Worth measuring your room before you order: reclined, this chair is nearly six feet long.
Position and audio are handled from an easy-to-access control panel on the chair, so you can change either without sitting up. The attached AMP drives the SoundHearts, and the Audio In cable brings in whatever you want to play. Therabody also publishes a Sound Therapy Playlist of its own audio content for the chair.
Seen from the side, the Lounger reads as a recliner: a continuous curved frame, an upholstered seat and a headrest pillow with a removable sleeve. The audio hardware is inside the shell, and the whole TheraSound system arrives assembled. It runs from a mains power adapter, so it needs an outlet within reach of wherever you place it.
Also for downtime
These are not competing alternatives to the Lounger. They are the other Therabody products built for rest and downtime, grouped here as a pairing suggestion for anyone setting up a space to switch off in.

"Comfortable. Love the tech. Delivery was via a third party and they assembled and installed upon arrival."
