Therabody TheraFace Depuffing Wand

The TheraFace Depuffing Wand is Therabody's hot and cold skincare tool, a 6-inch wand with a metal tip that glides over the face, cooling at 57, 54 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit and warming at 95, 100 and 108. Two buttons switch between hot and cold and step through the three levels, so a treatment starts the moment you pick it up. It weighs 112 g and comes in white or indigo, with a travel cap and a USB-C charging cable in the box. It is FDA Registered and HSA/FSA Accepted, and TIME named it to its Best Inventions of 2025.

Temperature is the whole product, so the numbers deserve laying out properly. On the cold side the default is Cold at 57 degrees Fahrenheit, or 14 Celsius, then Colder at 54 degrees Fahrenheit and 12 Celsius, then Coldest at 50 degrees Fahrenheit and 10 Celsius. On the warm side the default is Warm at 95 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 35 Celsius, then Warmer at 100 degrees Fahrenheit and 38 Celsius, then Warmest at 108 degrees Fahrenheit and 42 Celsius. The temperature system has a name of its own, Cryothermal Technology. A treatment protocol of 8 to 10 minutes covers one routine. A second runs six minutes, with an automatic alert at the three-minute mark telling you to switch to the other side of your face. The tip itself is a copper and aluminium alloy, which is the part that carries the temperature onto the skin.

A charge gives 38 minutes of run time and fills over USB-C. The wand is FDA Registered, which is an establishment listing with the agency and carries no finding on safety or effectiveness - it is a weaker status than the clearance the TheraFace masks hold, and the distinction is worth keeping straight. It is HSA/FSA Accepted and TSA Approved, though your plan administrator decides any individual claim. TIME named it to its Best Inventions of 2025.
