Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo

The TheraFace Mask Glo is Therabody's lighter LED face mask, FDA Cleared and HSA/FSA Accepted, used for the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, firmer-looking skin and a more even tone. The moulded shell holds 504 lights, grouped as 168 tri-wick LEDs. Blue runs at 415 nm, red at 633 nm, and red with infrared at 830 nm, for a 12-minute preset of four minutes a colour. At 514 g it is the lighter of the two masks Therabody builds. One size is made, and the mask arrives with a protective eye shield and a USB-C cable.

Twelve minutes is the number that separates this mask from the other one. Each colour gets four minutes, one more than the bigger mask gives, so a full routine is a third longer. The treatment range runs from 4 to 12 minutes if you want to cut it down. Battery life is quoted against that full routine with vibration running: 60 minutes per charge. Vibration comes from motors inside the shell and works the face while a colour plays. Every control is on the mask, the port is USB-C, and the shell measures 200 mm by 220 mm by 120 mm.

The Glo carries the larger of Therabody's two mask studies. It ran 12 weeks at Eurofins CRL with 104 people completing it out of 115 enrolled, aged 35 to 65 and covering Fitzpatrick skin types I to VI, on a protocol of the 12-minute preset six days a week. Radiance improved by 25.4% and skin texture by 22.9% at twelve weeks. The Mask Glo is FDA Cleared and HSA/FSA Accepted, with your plan administrator deciding any individual claim, and it holds a 1-year limited warranty.
