Chattanooga Knee Bolster Set

The Chattanooga Knee Bolster Set is a pair of knee bolsters for positioning a patient during traction treatments, holding the knees flexed with the patient supine for lumbar traction. It sets the hip and knee angle before any pull is applied. The set includes two bolsters, and each one supports a leg on its own. Lightweight, the bolsters take the place of a flexion stool. The set ships inside the Basic and Advanced Triton DTS accessory packages and inside the TX traction kit with bolsters. On its own it is a replacement or a second-room spare.

Because it only sits on the table top, it works with either traction head, the TX or the Triton, on any Galaxy or Triton traction table. The TX traction kits are otherwise identical: one arrives with the Traction Flexion Stool and the other arrives with this set in its place. The stool sets a flexion angle by its height, where the bolster holds one fixed shape and asks nothing of the patient to keep it. Foam wipes down between patients, and the set stores on the table end.
