Free Delivery Damage Insurance Included With Purchase

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

In the USA the “lifetime” of an infrared sauna is considered 7 years. Many sauna brands offering a “lifetime warranty” know this and use it against you after 7 years of ownership. Your Finnmark Design’s sauna comes with a 10-year warranty, giving you piece of mind that after 7 years you are still covered.

Unconditional Lifetime Warranty

Spectrum Plus™  infrared heaters (UL Listed) have an estimated operational life of 40,000 hours and our carbon 360 heaters have an estimated operational life of 30,000 hours. Using your sauna 5 times per week your Spectrum heaters can last up to 130 years. 

Our Spectrum Plus™ Incoloy heaters have a unconditional lifetime warranty. No other sauna brand is that confident in their heating elements.

Three To Four Person Indoor Infrared Sauna

Finnmark FD-3 3-4 Person Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna

The FD-3 is where Finnmark's indoor infrared line stops being a personal cabin and starts being a room. Interior width jumps to 67 inches — 24 inches more than the FD-2 — across a 41-inch depth and 70 inches of height, for 111.3 cubic feet and seating for three to four. The exterior stands 72 inches wide by 46 deep by 78 tall.

That extra width is filled with heaters. Eight Spectrum Plus dual wave panels are fitted: four across the back wall, two under the bench and two on the front wall, with Spectrum Carbon 360 long-wave panels down each side wall. Finnmark's specification table for this model puts the supply at 240V, 15 amps, on a NEMA 6-15P plug, which is the one thing that separates the FD-3 from the two smaller cabins on paperwork as well as on size.

The FD-3's interior is 67 inches wide, against 43 in the two-person FD-2 — 24 inches more room across the cabin. Depth is 41 inches and height 70, giving 111.3 cubic feet of room volume, which is 59 percent more air than the FD-2 has to heat. Finnmark rate it for three to four bathers.

A Full Wall Of Spectrum Plus

With the door open you can count them. Four Spectrum Plus dual wave heaters fill the back wall behind the bench, two more are mounted underneath the seat, and two sit on the front wall either side of the door. Spectrum Carbon 360 long-wave panels close off both side walls. Eight short-wave panels is double what the FD-2 carries. Finnmark's specification table for the FD-3 lists 240V at 15 amps on a NEMA 6-15P plug.

What Is Inside The Spectrum Plus Panels

Finnmark's cutaway shows a Spectrum Plus heater in section: an incoloy outer layer, a ceramic layer beneath it, nichrome wire and a magnesium oxide filling. These are the UL Listed elements, rated at .99 emissivity and 40,000 hours. Finnmark's headline claim for them is deep penetrating heat up to 25 times more than a standard carbon panel heater, a figure they publish without a stated methodology.

Plan The 240V Outlet Before It Arrives

This is the one thing to sort out before the freight truck books a window. Finnmark's specification table for the FD-3 lists 240 volts at 15 amps on a NEMA 6-15P plug, into a 240v 15a outlet. The cabin plugs in, so no panel work happens at the sauna end, but the outlet itself has to exist.

Finnmark rate it for three to four bathers. The interior measures 67" W × 41" D × 70" H and holds 111.3 cubic feet. The 67-inch width is the number that matters here: it is 24 inches wider inside than the two-person FD-2.
240V at 15 amps, through a NEMA 6-15P plug into a 240v 15a outlet. That is the figure on Finnmark's own specification table for the FD-3. The sauna plugs in, so there is no hardwiring at the cabin, but the 240v outlet has to be there. If the room does not have one, our own recommendation at Recovery For Athletes is to book a licensed electrician to install it before delivery.
No. The FD-3 is infrared only, with no rocks and no steam. Eight Spectrum Plus dual wave panels are built into the cabin — four on the back wall, two under the bench, two on the front wall — plus Spectrum Carbon 360 far infrared panels on each side wall. If you want a rock heater, the Trinity models are the ones that carry one.
Spectrum Plus™ panels are UL Listed incoloy short-wave heaters producing mid and far infrared, built from an incoloy layer, a ceramic layer, nichrome wire and magnesium oxide filling. Finnmark rate them .99 emissivity and 40,000 hours. Spectrum Carbon 360 panels are long-wave far infrared, labelled Low EMF/ELF Technology, rated 0.99 emissivity and 30,000 hours. Finnmark's claim is that they are the only manufacturer putting both types in one cabin.
A Thermo-Aspen exterior over a Western Canadian Cedar interior, the same pairing Finnmark use across the indoor cabins. The aspen is their Thermal Plus™ stock, processed with heat and steam only, with no chemicals involved; Finnmark's claim is that it will not rot, warp, decay or chip. On the cedar their claim is natural antimicrobial resistance to mold, bacteria and fungus.
Maximum temperature is 170°F, the same ceiling as the smaller infrared cabins. The LCD panel inside the cabin displays the temperature.
