Free Delivery Damage Insurance Included With Purchase

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

In the USA the “lifetime” of an infrared sauna is considered 7 years. Many sauna brands offering a “lifetime warranty” know this and use it against you after 7 years of ownership. Your Finnmark Design’s sauna comes with a 10-year warranty, giving you piece of mind that after 7 years you are still covered.

Unconditional Lifetime Warranty

Spectrum Plus™  infrared heaters (UL Listed) have an estimated operational life of 40,000 hours and our carbon 360 heaters have an estimated operational life of 30,000 hours. Using your sauna 5 times per week your Spectrum heaters can last up to 130 years. 

Our Spectrum Plus™ Incoloy heaters have a unconditional lifetime warranty. No other sauna brand is that confident in their heating elements.

Finnmark FD-3 3-4-Person Full Spectrum Indoor Infrared Sauna

The Finnmark FD-3 3-4-Person Full Spectrum Indoor Infrared Sauna puts three or four people on one 67.2 inch cedar bench and takes this home sauna to 170°F in less than an hour. Short-wave Spectrum Plus™ heaters and long-wave Spectrum Carbon panels give it both ends of the infrared spectrum. Outside is a Thermal Plus™ Aspen shell, treated with heat and steam alone, around an interior of Clear A grade Western Red Cedar. The FD-3 is ETL certified, with a lifetime warranty on every Spectrum Plus heater and ten years on the sauna itself.

Inside, the cabin is 67.2 inches wide, 41.6 deep and 70.5 tall, within an exterior of 70.9 by 45.3 by 78.3 inches. The back wall holds four Spectrum Plus dual wave panels, a fifth sits under the bench and the front wall carries two more, while Spectrum Carbon long-wave panels run down each side wall. The supply is 240V at 15 amps on a NEMA 6-15P plug.

The Build

How it works

Built for a group on one long bench, the FD-3 carries seven Spectrum Plus heaters, against three in the FD-1 and four in the FD-2, and runs them on a 240V supply.

Plugs into a 240V outlet
The FD-3 runs on 240V at 15 amps and 3,150 watts, through a NEMA 6-15P plug into a 240v 15a outlet. It needs a dedicated 15 amp circuit with no other devices on it, and the cord, about 9 feet long, leaves from the top front of the cabin.

The FD-3's interior is 67.2 inches wide, against 44.3 in the two-person FD-2, which gives nearly 23 inches more room across the cabin. Depth is 41.6 inches and height 70.5. It seats three to four bathers on a cedar bench 21.3 inches deep, with cedar on the walls and backrest as well.

Power and controls

Once the 240V outlet is in place, the FD-3 plugs straight in, with no hardwiring at the cabin end. The Controller 2.0 touchscreen sets and shows the cabin temperature up to 170°F, and it streams Bluetooth audio to the 6 inch HiFi speakers.

How it compares

The indoor line has five cabins, three infrared-only and two Trinity hybrids carrying a Harvia rock heater. The FD-3 is the largest of the infrared-only three, and it moves to a 240V supply where the FD-1 and FD-2 stay on a 120V plug.

Three to four bathers, side by side on a cedar bench 67.2 inches long. That makes the cabin nearly 23 inches wider inside than the two-person FD-2, at 67.2 x 41.6 x 70.5 in.
It needs a 240V, 15 amp outlet on a dedicated circuit: the FD-3 draws 3,150 watts through a NEMA 6-15P plug. If the room does not have that outlet, a licensed electrician installs it to code.
Clear A grade Western Canadian Red Cedar, 67.2 inches long and 21.3 inches deep, with the same cedar on the walls and backrest. It is naturally antimicrobial cedar, resistant to mold, bacteria and fungus. Around it, the Thermal Plus™ Aspen shell will not rot, warp, decay or chip.
