Shipping & Delivery Information

Free Delivery Damage Insurance Included With Purchase

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

In the USA the “lifetime” of an infrared sauna is considered 7 years. Many sauna brands offering a “lifetime warranty” know this and use it against you after 7 years of ownership. Your Finnmark Design’s sauna comes with a 10-year warranty, giving you piece of mind that after 7 years you are still covered.

Unconditional Lifetime Warranty

Spectrum Plus™  infrared heaters (UL Listed) have an estimated operational life of 40,000 hours and our carbon 360 heaters have an estimated operational life of 30,000 hours. Using your sauna 5 times per week your Spectrum heaters can last up to 130 years. 

Our Spectrum Plus™ Incoloy heaters have a unconditional lifetime warranty. No other sauna brand is that confident in their heating elements.

Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL 4-Person Infrared & Steam Sauna

The Trinity XL is the biggest room Finnmark build for indoors: 130 cubic feet, an interior 71 inches wide by 57.5 deep by 75.5 high, and an exterior of 75 by 64 by 83 inches. Finnmark rate it for three to four bathers. Where the FD-4 gives you a two-seat hybrid, this one is sized for a group and heated accordingly.

A Harvia KIP45B comes with it — 4.5kW, 240V, single phase, 18.8 nominal amps, weighing 40 lbs, rated by Harvia for 100 to 210 adjusted cubic feet — along with a 44 lb box of Harvia AC3000 stones. Infrared runs on 240V as well, so the whole cabin is a 240V install and needs a licensed electrician. Traditional heat tops out at 190°F, infrared at 170°F.

What It Takes To Heat 130 Cubic Feet Two Ways

The Trinity XL asks a 4.5kW rock heater and infrared on four walls to cover the largest indoor volume Finnmark offer. It is the only indoor cabin running 240V on both the infrared side and the rock heater.

Finnmark supply the Harvia KIP45B with the cabin: 4.5kW, 240V, single phase, 18.8 nominal amps, 40 lbs, and rated by Harvia for rooms of 100 to 210 adjusted cubic feet. The FD-5's 130 cubic feet lands comfortably inside that. A single box of Harvia AC3000 stones, sized 0 to 10cm, weighs 44 lbs and ships alongside.

One Hundred And Thirty Cubic Feet

Seen from above, the Trinity XL is 71 inches of interior width by 57.5 of depth, with 75.5 inches of headroom over it. That is 44 more cubic feet than the two-person FD-4 and 18.7 more than the FD-3, which is the largest infrared-only cabin in the range. Finnmark rate the room for three to four bathers, and the overhead shot shows the bench and the Harvia in the same frame.

Panels On Four Walls, One Touchscreen

Open the front and the whole system is visible at once. Four Spectrum Plus dual wave panels are set into the back wall, two more sit under the bench, two are fitted to each side wall and one goes on the front wall. The Harvia stands separately, and the V2 LCD Controller — a 5-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth — runs the cabin.

Red Light Therapy And Chromotherapy

The FD-5 carries the same Spectrum Red Light™ Therapy panel as the FD-4: 192 medical grade diodes at 650nm. Chromotherapy lighting is fitted with it, and Finnmark's gallery runs the cabin through red, blue, green and yellow. Both are driven from the V2 LCD touchscreen.

A Thermo-Aspen exterior over a Western Canadian Cedar interior, as on the rest of the indoor line. Finnmark's Thermal Plus™ treatment uses heat and steam with no chemicals, and their claim for the treated aspen is that it will not rot, warp, decay or chip. The cedar they describe as naturally antimicrobial, resisting mold, bacteria and fungus.
The exterior is 75" W × 64" D × 83" H. Assembled product weight is 575 lbs and shipping weight is 654 lbs including a 48 lb pallet. This is the heaviest and widest of the indoor cabins, so measure the route in before you order.
