ย Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. Theย freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

ย  ย  ย  They wonโ€™t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times areย only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrierโ€™s availability. Last minute appointments canย occur, and itโ€™s out of our hands since the delivery process is managedย by the carrierโ€™s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, dependingย on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas areย delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions orย issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees,ย apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior toย shipping your sauna.

ย  ย  ย  ย  Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediatelyย inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches,ย indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the deliveryย receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. Theย freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floorย entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit throughย your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

Your Finnmark Designโ€™s sauna comes with a 10-year warranty, giving you piece of mind that after 7 years you are still covered.

Spectrum Plusโ„ขย ย infrared heaters (UL Listed) have an estimated operational life of 40,000 hours and our carbon 360 heaters have an estimated operational life of 30,000 hours. Using your sauna 5 times per week your Spectrum heaters can last up to 130 years.ย

One-Person Indoor Infrared Sauna

Finnmark FD-1 1-Person Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna

The FD-1 is the smallest cabin Finnmark build for indoors. The exterior is 38 inches wide by 38 inches deep and 78 inches tall, and the interior holds 44.1 cubic feet at 32 inches wide by 34 deep by 70 high. It seats one bather on a single bench, with infrared panels on the back wall, both side walls and underneath the seat.

The shell is Thermo-Aspen and the interior is Western Canadian Cedar. Finnmark treat the aspen with heat and steam only, with no chemicals, and their claim for the result is that it will not rot, warp, decay or chip; they describe the cedar as naturally antimicrobial and resistant to mold, bacteria and fungus. The whole cabin draws 1,750 watts at 120V and 15 amps through a NEMA 5-15P plug, and Finnmark's electrical card in the gallery reads "No Electrician Needed."

The Build

Everything Fits Inside 44.1 Cubic Feet

A one-person cabin gives you no room to be casual about what goes in it. The FD-1 carries two types of infrared panel, two woods and an 8mm glass door in a shell 38 inches square.

UL Listed incoloy short-wave heaters producing mid and far infrared. Two sit on the back wall and one under the bench. Finnmark rate them at .99 emissivity and claim deep penetrating heat up to 25 times more than a standard carbon panel heater.

Where The Heat Comes From

Finnmark's layout diagram maps every panel in the cabin. Two Spectrum Plus dual wave heaters, producing far and mid infrared, sit on the back wall. A third Spectrum Plus panel is mounted under the bench. Spectrum Carbon 360 far infrared panels run down each side wall, so a single bather sits inside heat coming from behind, from both sides and from below.

Finnmark's cutaway breaks a Spectrum Plus heater into four layers: an incoloy outer layer, a ceramic layer, nichrome wire and a magnesium oxide filling. These are the panels carrying the UL listing, and the ones Finnmark back with an unconditional lifetime warranty. Stated operational life is 40,000 hours.
