The massage robot is 3D FlexGlide, an orbital mechanism Human Touch describes as patent pending on this page, and the published massage intensity is moderate. Five auto-massage programs run it, with BodyMap PRO to point the massage at a specific area. Then this is the wrong chair, and so is the WholeBody 8.0. Human Touch's three Novo platform chairs publish 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 9 in. The Novo Flex is the least expensive of the three and its leg rest extends automatically to match your height. All five Human Touch massage chairs share the same 285 lb load rating, so height is the only fit figure that moves between them.

Very little on paper. Both run 3D FlexGlide, both are rated 285 lb and 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 2 in., both weigh 114 lb, both swivel 55 degrees and both share the same upright and reclined dimensions. The published differences: five auto-massage programs here against seven auto-wellness programs on the 8.0, and a headrest pad with sliding pillow adjustment listed on the 8.0 only. This chair comes in three colors where the 8.0 comes in two, and it publishes a full seat height where the 8.0 does not.

Human Touch publishes the massage intensity as moderate. That figure appears on both WholeBody chairs and on neither of the Super Novo chairs, which is unusually direct of them and worth taking at face value. If you are shopping for a deep, high-pressure massage, read that word carefully before you order.

FlexGlide is Human Touch's orbital massage mechanism, published here as 3D FlexGlide Massage Technology. On this page Human Touch describes FlexGlide as patent pending and the warm-air heat as patented, and publishes neither a patent number nor an application number. We repeat their two terms exactly as they use them and do not upgrade one to the other.

Between the five programs and the BodyMap targeting, that is the whole of what the controller offers.

Warm air, which is how Human Touch delivers heat on both WholeBody chairs. No heat zone count and no temperature range is published. This is a different arrangement from the Novo chairs, which publish Dual-Lumbar Heat plus a heated foot and calf section.

Human Touch publishes three separate terms: 3 years structural, 2 years parts, 1 year labor. The product page headline reads 3-Year Limited Warranty and refers to the structural term only, so a covered part failing in year two is a free part and a chargeable service call. Human Touch excludes normal wear such as foam softening and fabric wear, damage from animals or pests, and damage from power surges or a dropped product. Shipping damage must be reported and documented at the time of delivery.

The STANDARD tier, in two terms: the 3-Year STANDARD plan and the 5-Year STANDARD plan. Both extend parts and in-home service for consumer use, both are end-user coverage, and both exclude commercial use. How the three Human Touch plan tiers map onto the range is set out on the WholeBody 8.0 page.
