The WholeBody 8.0 is built on different hardware from the Novo chairs above it, and Human Touch is explicit about what that hardware is. The massage robot is 3D FlexGlide, an orbital mechanism, and Human Touch publishes the massage intensity as moderate. There is no S-track, no L-track and no track length on this spec sheet, because FlexGlide is not described that way. What is on the sheet is a maximum load weight of 285 lb, a height range of 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 2 in., seven auto-wellness programs, and patented warm air technology.

The other thing this chair does that none of the Novo chairs do is move. The base swivels 55 degrees, the ottoman retracts, and the whole chair weighs 114 lb, roughly a third of a Super Novo X. Upright it takes 44 in. L x 28 in. W x 40 in. H, which is a footprint a spare bedroom can absorb. What a plan carries is parts and in-home service for consumer use, and that wording is the whole of it. What Is Left Out Once the Chair Is in the Room

From the day it lands in a room like this one, Human Touch's exclusions are the part worth reading. Normal wear and tear is out, and Human Touch spells that out as foam softening from regular use, fabric wear, leather texture or color variation, creasing and pilling. Damage from animals, rodents, insects or other pests is out. So is damage from power surges, loss of power, a dropped product or a failure to follow the operating instructions. Shipping damage is handled separately again: it does not count as a defect and must be reported and documented at the time of delivery.

The published differences are the program count and the headrest: the 8.0 carries seven auto-wellness programs against the 7.1's five auto-massage programs, and Human Touch lists a headrest pad with sliding pillow adjustment on the 8.0 only. The 7.1 comes in three colors where the 8.0 comes in two, and the 7.1 publishes a seat height of 19 in. where the 8.0 publishes seat width and depth alone.
