Hyperice Normatec Go

Two calf sleeves, 1.2 lbs, and that is the entire system. There is no control unit and no hose — the pump and the buttons live in the sleeve, so a session runs while you are standing at your desk or sitting at home. Each sleeve packs down to 1 in thick and charges over USB-C.

The Go is also the pressure outlier of the Normatec range. Its seven levels cover 40 to 200 mmHg, where every Normatec 3 and Normatec Elite tops out at 110. Hyperice moved the whole interface onto the wearable. Intuitive user controls set the level and start the session from the sleeve, with Bluetooth to the Hyperice App if you want more. What ships in the box is short, because there is not much to ship.

The Go is built specifically for the calf. It wraps the muscle through 360 degrees in three overlapping zones, and because the sleeve carries its own pump there is no line running away from your leg. Hyperice's framing is that the calf is often considered the second heart for its role in the circulatory system, which is their reason for concentrating the device there.

It applies dynamic air compression. On the Go, three overlapping chambers wrap the calf and inflate in sequence while the ones already filled hold their pressure, so the pressure travels through the muscle in a wave. Seven levels cover 40 to 200 mmHg.
Because they are different devices with different specifications. Hyperice publishes 40 to 200 mmHg for the Normatec Go and 40 to 110 mmHg for the Normatec Elite and every Normatec 3 system. We have checked the Go figure twice, and it holds. Both use seven levels, so the steps between levels are simply wider on the Go.
Same family, different scope. The Go is a pair of calf-only wearables with three zones each and no control unit. Normatec boots cover the whole leg in five zones and, apart from the Elite, need a control unit and hose. If you want full-leg coverage, the Go is not a substitute for a boot.
