Free Curbside Delivery

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

The Iglucraft 4-6 Person Double Room Iglusauna is a two-room outdoor sauna for four to six people, with the sauna on one side and a changing and relaxing room on the other. The second room completes the experience, giving you somewhere to change on the way in and to cool down between rounds. Between the two rooms sits a large fixed glass window, so the relaxing room looks straight into the sauna. Handmade in Estonia from spruce and aspen shingles, it is delivered in one piece with both rooms fitted out. All four exterior and interior finish pairings sell at the same price.

At 181 in. long, 92.5 in. wide and 99.6 in. tall, the Double holds 90.4 ft² of usable floor across its two rooms, under a ceiling of 84.25 in., just over seven feet. Each structure is handcrafted shingle by shingle and integrates all fixtures and furniture, so on arrival there is no additional assembly or construction on your part, and the whole building ships at 3,300 lbs.

Construction is a wooden frame under three layers of spruce shingles, lined inside with two layers of aspen. Aspen benches, backrests and footrests are fitted in both rooms and finished with natural sauna wax, and the relaxing room has clothing hooks.

The Build

How it works

The Double is built by the same hand method as every Iglusauna, and its second room brings a dividing wall with a large pane of glass set into it. Around that wall, spruce shingle covers the outside of the frame and aspen lines both rooms.

The wall dividing the sauna from the relaxing room is set with a large pane of sealed glass. Sitting in the relaxing room, you can see straight through into the sauna. The sauna door is glass, and Iglucraft fit small sealed windows in the building.

The exterior carries three layers of spruce shingle over a wooden frame across the full 181 in., treated with Teknos Aqua Primer tinted with a UV-resistant paint pigment. It needs no additional coating.

Both rooms are lined with two layers of aspen shingles. The lining comes in Natural or in Black (Smoke), one of the two finish choices you make.

A Relaxing Room With Its Own Benches

The second room is finished to the same standard as the sauna. It carries its own aspen benches and clothing hooks, so you can change and relax without leaving the building. Across the two rooms the usable floor area is 90.4 ft², and LED lighting is fitted in every room.

Inside the sauna room the heater sits centered with a bench running down each side, all in pale aspen. At 84.25 in., the ceiling leaves standing room on the floor between the benches. The heat comes from the Stoveman wood-fired stove, included with the Double free of charge, and the heater stones come with it. The door into this room is glass, alongside the large fixed pane in the dividing wall.

A roofline shingled three deep

The shell runs a little over 15 ft end to end, and every foot of it is three layers of spruce shingle on a wooden frame. Spruce shingle moves with the weather, swelling and shrinking through the seasons, and patches of unpainted wood that appear over the years are normal and leave the lifespan unchanged. Spare replacement shingles and touch-up paint are sent with the sauna.

No. Each structure is handcrafted shingle by shingle and integrates all fixtures and furniture, and on arrival there is no need for additional assembly or construction on your part. Both rooms come finished, with the benches, the hooks, the glass between the rooms, the shingles and the flooring all in place.
A concrete slab is not required. The Double needs a hard, level surface with measures in place to keep moisture away from the structure, supporting the wooden beams under the floor frame at both ends and in the middle. Four foundation types work: brick blocks on a gravel pad, long beams laid perpendicular to the base beams, a pillar foundation, or a full-size level slab in concrete or another hard material. That support carries a building that ships at 3,300 lbs on a 181 x 92.5 in. footprint, with a gross buildable area of 103.3 ft².
One, and it is electrical. The sauna needs an electrical connection made by a certified electrician, sized to the heater package you choose. The building arrives with a pre-installed door sensor and an exterior electrical box ready for that connection.
Outside, brush leaves and moss off with a soft brush and avoid pressure washers. Inside, the waxed aspen benches can be cleaned with a pH 6-8 natural cleaner and rinsed with clean water at least once a year.
