Free Curbside Delivery

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

Iglucraft 6-Person Panoramic Iglusauna

The Panoramic is the longest building Iglucraft make in this line — 283.5 inches end to end, 23.6 feet, on a 92.5-inch width and standing 100.4 inches tall. Inside are two rooms, a changing room and the sauna, with 147.5 square feet of usable floor between them and a rating of up to six bathers. Iglucraft publish 84.25 inches of interior height, which is just over seven feet. The feature it takes its name from is the panoramic window.

One specification sets it apart from the other three models before you get to the glass: the Panoramic has PVC flooring throughout, where the Single, Double and Triple are floored in wood. Windows and doors are double-glazed and wooden-framed.

It arrives as a finished building. Iglucraft state that each structure is handcrafted shingle by shingle and integrates all fixtures and furniture, and that on arrival there is no need for additional assembly or construction on your part. The rest of the Recovery For Athletes sauna range is kit-built on site. These four Iglusaunas are the exceptions, and the Panoramic is the largest of them.

The Build

23.6 Feet, And One Very Large Window

The Panoramic is built by the same hand method as the rest of the line, with two specifications unique to this model. Four things are worth reading closely: the glazing, the flooring, the shell and the seating.

The large arched panoramic window is the signature of this model and the reason for the name. Iglucraft double-glaze the windows and doors on the Panoramic and frame them in wood. They also offer the panoramic window in either the relaxation room or the steam room at no additional cost — an option to raise with us, since it is not exposed as a variant on this page.

Over a wooden frame, three layers of spruce shingle run the full 283.5 inches, with two layers of aspen shingle lining the rooms inside. Iglucraft treat the exterior with Teknos Aqua Primer product tinted with a UV-resistant paint pigment and state that no additional coating is required.

The Changing Room

One of the two rooms is the changing room. Across both rooms the Panoramic has 147.5 square feet of usable floor, the largest figure in the Iglusauna line, and Iglucraft rate the building for up to six bathers. Iglucraft publish 84.25 inches of interior height, which applies throughout the building. The flooring underfoot here is PVC, as it is in the sauna room.

The Sauna Room, And What Heats It

The sauna room is lined with two layers of aspen shingle, with aspen benches, backrests and footrests finished in natural sauna wax. The Stoveman wood-fired stove is included with the Panoramic free of charge and Iglucraft supply the heater stones. Three electric packages are offered on this page as paid upgrades: the Saunum Air L 13kW with climate equaliser, digital controller, Wi-Fi and stones; the HUUM HIVE 12kW with the UKU Wi-Fi controller; and the Harvia Club 12.5kW with digital controller and Wi-Fi. The Harvia is a three-phase unit listed for commercial use, so it is a different class of installation from the other two.

Spruce Shingle Across 283.5 Inches

Three layers of spruce shingle cover a wooden frame the full length of the building. Iglucraft treat them with Teknos Aqua Primer product tinted with a UV-resistant paint pigment and state that no additional coating is required. Their care guide describes the material honestly: the shingles expand and shrink with the climate, some unpainted surfaces may become visible, and Iglucraft say both are normal and neither affects lifespan. Where drying cracks a shingle, their stated reason it will not leak is that the shingles are triple-layered.

Four Buildings, One Method

Wooden frame, three layers of spruce shingle outside, two layers of aspen inside, aspen benches, and no site construction — that description fits all four Iglusaunas. The Panoramic sits at the top of it. At 283.5 inches it is 55 inches longer than the Triple and exactly three times the length of the Single, it has the largest usable floor area in the line at 147.5 ft², and it is the only model with the panoramic window and with PVC flooring.

No. Iglucraft's statement is that each structure is handcrafted shingle by shingle and integrates all fixtures and furniture, and that on arrival there is no need for additional assembly or construction on your part. Both rooms, the panoramic window, the benches, the flooring and the shingles are all in place when the building arrives. One thing we will not quote: Iglucraft's published weights for the Panoramic disagree between their product sheet and their model page, so ask us to confirm the figure in writing before you plan around it.
A concrete slab is not required. Iglucraft ask for a hard, level surface with measures in place to keep moisture away from the structure, and the foundation must support the wooden beams under the floor frame at both ends and in the middle. Four types are accepted: brick blocks on a gravel pad, long beams running perpendicular to the base beams, a pillar foundation, or a full-size level slab in concrete or another hard material. At 283.5 inches, the levelling and the centre support are the two things to get right.
A single electrical connection. Iglucraft's transport documentation states that saunas only include the electrical connection and asks that a certified electrician makes it. Iglucraft publish no voltage, phase, amperage or breaker figures for the Iglusauna, and neither do we, so have your electrician size the supply against the heater package you choose.
