Free Curbside Delivery

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

Iglucraft 6-Person Triple Room Iglusauna

The Triple is a three-room building: a changing and relaxation room, a washing room, and the sauna. It measures 228.3 inches long by 92.5 wide by 99.6 tall, Iglucraft put the usable floor area at 117.3 square feet across all three rooms, and it is rated for up to six bathers. Iglucraft publish 84.25 inches of interior height, which is just over seven feet. It ships at 3,520 lbs.

The washing room exists because there is equipment in it. Iglucraft's product sheet for this model lists a shower and an electric boiler as standard. That specification is worth confirming with us in writing when you order, because it appears on Iglucraft's sheet and not in our own included-items list.

All of it arrives finished. Iglucraft's wording is that each structure is handcrafted shingle by shingle and integrates all fixtures and furniture, and that on arrival there is no need for additional assembly or construction on your part. Every other sauna Recovery For Athletes sells is a kit the customer builds; the four Iglusaunas are the only ones that turn up as completed buildings.

The Build

Three Rooms, 19 Feet Of Shingled Roof

The Triple is the most equipped building in the Iglusauna line and the most photographed. Four specifications account for that: what is fitted in the washing room, the timber inside, the shell over the top, and the glass between the rooms.

Iglucraft's product sheet for the Triple lists a shower and an electric boiler as standard. That equipment is the reason this model has a washing room at all, and it is the clearest difference between the Triple and every other Iglusauna. Confirm it with us in writing at the point of order.

The changing and relaxation room is lined in pale aspen with clothing hooks fitted to the wall. It is one of three rooms sharing 117.3 square feet of usable floor across the building, which Iglucraft rate for up to six bathers. Fixed windows are set between the rooms.

The Shower And Electric Boiler

This is the specification that separates the Triple from the rest of the line, and it comes straight from Iglucraft's own product sheet for the model: a shower and an electric boiler, listed as standard. Per that sheet, the shower and boiler are the reason the washing room exists. Iglucraft also specify an aspen bench in there. Note that the shower and boiler appear on Iglucraft's sheet and not in our own included-items list, so ask us to confirm them in writing when you place the order.

The Sauna Room

The sauna room is lined with two layers of aspen shingle, with a stone-clad heater and benches alongside. Benches, backrests and footrests are aspen finished with natural sauna wax, and an arched window brings daylight in. Iglucraft publish 84.25 inches of interior height, so there is standing room off the benches. The door into the room carries a large glass window. Heat comes from the Stoveman wood-fired stove, included free of charge, and Iglucraft supply the heater stones.

19 Feet Of Spruce Shingle

Three layers of spruce shingle cover a wooden frame across the whole 228.3-inch length. Iglucraft treat them with Teknos Aqua Primer product tinted with a UV-resistant paint pigment and state that no additional coating is needed. Their care guide sets expectations plainly: the shingles are a living material that expands and shrinks with the climate, some unpainted surfaces may become visible, and Iglucraft describe that as normal with no effect on lifespan. Where a shingle cracks from drying, their stated reason it will not leak is that the shingles are triple-layered. Spare replacement shingles and touch-up paint are sent with the sauna.

The four Iglusaunas share a construction method and an arrival condition: wooden frame, three layers of spruce shingle outside, two layers of aspen inside, aspen benches, and no construction work on site. Room count is what changes. The Triple is the only one of the four with a washing room, and the only one whose product sheet lists a shower and an electric boiler.

Clothing hooks are fitted in the relaxing room and fixed windows sit between the rooms.

Yes — the Stoveman wood-fired stove is included free of charge, and Iglucraft supply the heater stones. Three electric packages are offered here as paid upgrades: the Saunum Air L 13kW with climate equaliser, digital controller, Wi-Fi and stones; the HUUM HIVE 12kW with the UKU Wi-Fi controller; and the Harvia Club 12.5kW with digital controller and Wi-Fi. The Harvia is a three-phase unit listed for commercial use, so it is a different class of installation from the other two. Put the decision to your electrician before you order.

Iglucraft's own statement is that each structure is handcrafted shingle by shingle and integrates all fixtures and furniture, and that on arrival there is no need for additional assembly or construction on your part. All three rooms come finished. That is what separates these four saunas from the rest of what we sell, which is kit-built.
Iglucraft do not require a concrete slab. Their requirement is a hard, level surface with measures in place to stop moisture reaching the structure, supporting the wooden beams under the floor frame at both ends and in the middle. They accept four types: brick blocks on a gravel pad, long beams running perpendicular to the base beams, a pillar foundation, or a full-size level slab in concrete or another hard material. Over 228.3 inches, get that middle support and the levelling right at the planning stage.
Iglucraft's transport documentation states that saunas only include the electrical connection, and asks that a certified electrician makes it. Iglucraft publish no voltage, phase, amperage or breaker figures for the Iglusauna and we quote none here, so have your electrician size the supply against the heater package you pick. Because the Triple carries more equipment than the other models, walk your site through with us before you order.
Iglucraft's answer is a treatment and a construction. The treatment: exterior shingles are treated with Teknos Aqua Primer product, tinted with a UV-resistant paint pigment, and Iglucraft state it does not require additional coating.
