iRESTORE | LED Face Masks
The iRESTORE Illumina Face Mask is an LED face mask carrying 360 LEDs at three wavelengths: 635 nm in the red, 830 nm in the infrared and 415 nm in the blue. It weighs 181 grams and is built from silicone over a hard shell, so the mask keeps a face shape while the silicone sits against you. Three modes decide which of the three wavelengths light up, and each mode has its own output figure: 35 mW/cm2 with red and infrared together, 60 mW/cm2 with all three lit, and 25 mW/cm2 on blue alone. A session runs 10 minutes, three to five times a week.
You wear it over the whole face and hold it there with the adjustable straps that ship in the box. The mask carries integrated eye shields, and the controller holds the battery, which is modular: the cell lifts out of the controller and goes back in, and it charges over the USB-C cable supplied with the mask.
The mode is the only setting on the mask. Mode 1 lights the red and the infrared LEDs together at 35 mW/cm2. Mode 2 adds the blue and runs all 360 LEDs at 60 mW/cm2, the highest output figure the mask reaches. Mode 3 runs the blue LEDs on their own at 25 mW/cm2, and the 10 minute session length is the same whichever one you pick.
iRESTORE covers the Illumina Face Mask with a 1 year warranty, and the iRESTORE return window on the Illumina masks runs 100 days from the date of purchase. The box holds the mask, the controller with its battery, a USB-C charging cable, adjustable straps and a storage pouch.
The hardware
Wavelength is fixed in this mask and the mode decides which LEDs light up, so the output figure moves with the mode you pick and there is no brightness dial to turn.
01
The Illumina Face Mask carries 360 LEDs set into the inside of a shell that covers the whole face at once. They run at 635 nm in the red, 830 nm in the infrared and 415 nm in the blue. Nothing on the mask aims or moves, so the count, the spacing and the mode are the whole of the hardware. At 181 grams it is light enough to keep on while you walk around the house.

02
Mode 2 lights red, infrared and blue together and runs at 60 mW/cm2, the top figure of the three. Mode 1 pairs the red with the infrared at 35 mW/cm2 and leaves the blue dark. Mode 3 runs the blue LEDs alone at 25 mW/cm2. You pick the mode at the controller, and the 10 minute session does not get longer or shorter with it.
60 mW/cm2
03
The controller holds a modular battery, so the cell that powers a session is a part you take out and put back at will. Charging runs over the USB-C cable in the box. The battery is what feeds the LEDs, so the mask has no lead running to a socket while a session is going.

The mask is silicone over a hard shell, so the outer shape holds while the inner surface gives against the face. The build is transparent, and the whole thing weighs 181 grams. Adjustable straps take the weight at the back of the head, and integrated eye shields are part of the mask itself. A storage pouch ships in the same box.

Feature by feature
Count, wavelength, mode, output, weight, box and warranty term are the figures that separate one LED face mask from another once you are standing in front of two of them.
01
The mask carries 360 LEDs across the inside of a full face shell.
02
The red LEDs run at 635 nm and light in Mode 1 and Mode 2.
03
The infrared LEDs run at 830 nm and light alongside the red ones.
04
The blue LEDs run at 415 nm and light on their own in Mode 3.
05
Mode 1 runs at 35 mW/cm2, Mode 2 at 60 mW/cm2 and Mode 3 at 25 mW/cm2.
06
The mask weighs 181 grams and holds its shape on silicone over a hard shell.

iRESTORE covers the Illumina Face Mask for 1 year from the date of purchase.
In detail
The shell
The mask is one piece of silicone laid over a hard shell, so it arrives in the shape of a face and stays in that shape on a shelf, in the pouch and on your head. The silicone is the surface that meets you and the shell underneath is what stops the whole thing folding. Adjustable straps run behind the head and take the 181 grams. Integrated eye shields sit in the mask around the eyes, and the build is transparent.
The emitters
All 360 LEDs point inward from the face side of the shell, so one mask covers forehead, cheeks, nose and chin in the same 10 minutes. The LED is the only emitter in this mask: there is no laser diode anywhere in it, and the iRESTORE mask that does carry laser diodes is the Laser Face Mask Pro. Three wavelengths are built in at 635 nm, 830 nm and 415 nm, and the mode you choose decides which of the three are lit for that session.
The modes
Three modes are all the setting there is on the Illumina Face Mask, and each one has a published output figure at the face. Mode 1 runs red and infrared together at 35 mW/cm2. Mode 2 brings the blue in as well and takes the mask to 60 mW/cm2, the highest of the three. Mode 3 drops the red and the infrared and runs the 415 nm blue on its own at 25 mW/cm2. Every mode holds the session at 10 minutes, so the choice you are making is which wavelengths are lit rather than how long you sit.
Power and the box
Power sits in the controller and the battery inside it is modular, so it lifts out and goes back in as a part. The USB-C charging cable in the box is what refills it. Everything else that arrives with the mask is there to get it on and keep it somewhere: the controller with its battery, the adjustable straps and a storage pouch. iRESTORE covers the mask for 1 year and its return window on the Illumina masks runs 100 days.
Safety
Two lines come with the Illumina Face Mask and both are worth reading before use.
The mask carries integrated eye shields and the straps adjust, so the fit can be set before the first 10 minute session starts.
The family
The four iRESTORE masks cover three areas of the body between them. The Illumina Face Mask is the LED mask for the whole face, the Laser Face Mask Pro covers the same ground with laser diodes among its LEDs, and the other two are built for the neck and chest and for the eye area.
You are here
A full face LED mask carrying 360 LEDs at 635 nm red, 830 nm infrared and 415 nm blue, in three modes and 10 minute sessions.
A full face mask carrying 800 emitters, 150 laser diodes and 650 LEDs, across eight wavelengths in five modes.
A neck and chest mask carrying 230 LEDs at 635 nm red and 830 nm infrared, in 10 minute sessions.
An eye mask carrying 180 LEDs at 633 nm red and 830 nm infrared, in three modes and a 5 minute session.
Questions
360 LEDs, set into the inside of a shell that covers the whole face. They run at three wavelengths: 635 nm in the red, 830 nm in the infrared and 415 nm in the blue. Every LED faces inward and none of them moves.
Mode 1 lights the red and the infrared together and runs at 35 mW/cm2. Mode 2 adds the blue and takes the mask to 60 mW/cm2, which is the top figure. Mode 3 runs the blue on its own at 25 mW/cm2. The mode is picked at the controller.
10 minutes, three to five times a week, and the length is the same on all three modes. The mode changes which wavelengths are lit for those 10 minutes and nothing else about the session.
181 grams. The body is silicone over a hard shell, so the mask keeps a face shape while the silicone surface sits against you, and adjustable straps hold the weight at the back of the head.

Yes. Integrated eye shields are part of the mask itself, so there is no separate piece to fit before a session and nothing to keep track of afterwards.
The mask, the controller with its battery, a USB-C charging cable, adjustable straps and a storage pouch. Those five pieces are everything needed to run the first 10 minute session.
1 year from the date of purchase, which is iRESTORE's standard term on the Illumina masks. The Laser Face Mask Pro is the one mask in the four that carries two years instead.
The iRESTORE window on the Illumina masks opens at purchase and runs 100 days. A return authorisation is raised somewhere between day 70 and day 100.
Emitter type, count and mode count. The Illumina Face Mask runs 360 LEDs at three wavelengths in three modes. The Laser Face Mask Pro runs 800 emitters, of which 150 are laser diodes and 650 are LEDs, across eight wavelengths in five modes, and it carries a 2 year warranty against this mask's 1 year. Both are current iRESTORE masks and both run a 10 minute session.
The Illumina Neck & Chest Mask, which carries 230 LEDs at 635 nm and 830 nm and runs at 41 mW/cm2. It has no blue LED, where this mask has 415 nm blue in two of its three modes.
The Illumina Eye Mask carries 180 LEDs at 633 nm and 830 nm, runs at 32 mW/cm2 and holds a 5 minute session against this mask's 10 minutes. It covers the eye area alone, where the Illumina Face Mask covers the whole face.
