iRESTORE | Laser Face Masks
The iRESTORE Laser Face Mask Pro is a full face mask carrying 800 emitters, and 150 of them are laser diodes. Those laser diodes emit at 660 nm in the red and 850 nm in the near-infrared. The other 650 emitters are LEDs, covering six further wavelengths at 633 nm red, 830 nm and 1072 nm near-infrared, 415 nm blue, 532 nm green and 590 nm amber, so eight wavelengths sit in the mask altogether.
Five preset modes decide which of the eight are lit, and each mode has its own output figure at the face. Mode 1 Anti-Aging runs at 70 mW/cm2, Mode 2 Clear at 97 mW/cm2, Mode 3 Brighten at 93 mW/cm2 and Mode 4 Restore at 99 mW/cm2. Mode 5 All Wavelengths lights everything in the mask and takes it to 126 mW/cm2. A session runs 10 minutes, three to five times a week, on whichever mode you pick.
The shell covers the whole face and carries on down over the chin and the jowl line. Its expanded unisex build leaves more room around the face and the nose than the Illumina Face Mask, and built-in silicone eye shields help reduce excess light around the eyes, so you can read or work while a session runs.
iRESTORE covers the Laser Face Mask Pro for 2 years, twice the term it puts on the Illumina masks, and the iRESTORE return window across the mask range runs 100 days. Six pieces arrive in the box: the mask, the controller with its battery, a USB-C charging cable, adjustable straps, a storage pouch and a microfiber cloth.
The hardware
Laser diodes are what put this mask in a different bracket from the LED masks in the iRESTORE range, and the eight wavelengths and five modes follow from having two kinds of emitter in one shell.
01
Of the 800 emitters in the Laser Face Mask Pro, 150 are laser diodes and 650 are LEDs. The laser diodes emit at 660 nm in the red and 850 nm in the near-infrared. Every iRESTORE Illumina mask is LED only, so the laser diodes are the hardware line between this mask and the Illumina Face Mask sitting next to it in the range. Both masks are current and both run a 10 minute session.

02
Eight wavelengths are built into the Pro and the two kinds of emitter divide them up. The laser diodes take 660 nm and 850 nm. The LEDs take 633 nm in the red, 830 nm and 1072 nm in the near-infrared, 415 nm in the blue, 532 nm in the green and 590 nm in the amber. Green and amber appear in no other iRESTORE mask, and the 1072 nm figure is the longest wavelength anywhere in the range.

Five preset modes come on the controller and each one has its own output figure. Mode 1 Anti-Aging runs at 70 mW/cm2 and Mode 3 Brighten at 93 mW/cm2. Mode 2 Clear runs at 97 mW/cm2 and Mode 4 Restore at 99 mW/cm2. Mode 5 All Wavelengths lights every emitter in the mask at once and takes the figure to 126 mW/cm2, which is more than double the top figure on the Illumina Face Mask.

Built-in silicone eye shields help reduce excess light around the eyes while the mask is on, so a session can be spent reading, working or getting ready. Adjustable straps hold the shell in position and the controller carries the battery, charged over the USB-C cable in the box. A storage pouch and a microfiber cloth arrive alongside it.

Feature by feature
Emitter type, emitter count, wavelength set, mode output, session length, shell coverage and warranty term are what place the Laser Face Mask Pro against the LED masks in the same range.
01
The mask carries 800 emitters, 150 laser diodes and 650 LEDs.
02
The 150 laser diodes emit at 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared.
03
The 650 LEDs run at 633 nm, 830 nm, 1072 nm, 415 nm, 532 nm and 590 nm.
04
Green at 532 nm and amber at 590 nm sit in no other iRESTORE mask.
05
Mode 1 Anti-Aging runs at 70 mW/cm2, the lowest of the five figures.
06
A session on the Pro runs 10 minutes, three to five times a week.
07
The expanded build takes in the chin and the jowl line as well as the face.

iRESTORE covers the Laser Face Mask Pro for 2 years from the date of purchase.
In detail
The emitters
The count that matters on this mask is the split: 150 laser diodes and 650 LEDs, 800 emitters in total. The laser diodes carry two wavelengths, 660 nm and 850 nm, and the LEDs carry the other six. An iRESTORE Illumina mask holds LEDs and nothing else, so the 150 is the number to look at when the Pro is being weighed against the Illumina Face Mask. Both sit in the same four mask range and both are sold new.
The modes
Four of the five modes light a set of the eight wavelengths and one lights all of them. Mode 1 Anti-Aging is the lowest at 70 mW/cm2, then Mode 3 Brighten at 93 mW/cm2, Mode 2 Clear at 97 mW/cm2 and Mode 4 Restore at 99 mW/cm2. Mode 5 All Wavelengths sits above the four at 126 mW/cm2 with every emitter in the mask lit. The mode is set on the controller before the 10 minutes begins and the session length holds whichever one is chosen.
The shell
The Pro covers the whole face and carries on down over the chin and the jowl line, which is further than the Illumina Face Mask reaches. Its unisex build is expanded, leaving more room around the face and the nose, so a larger face has somewhere to go inside the shell. Built-in silicone eye shields sit in the same moulding and help reduce excess light around the eyes, so a session can be spent reading or working.
Fit and the box
Adjustable straps run behind the head and set how firmly the shell sits, which matters more on this mask than on a small one because the shell reaches down to the jowl line. The controller holds the battery and charges over the USB-C cable supplied. Six pieces arrive in total: the mask, the controller with its battery, the cable, the straps, a storage pouch and a microfiber cloth. The Illumina Face Mask box holds five, with no cloth among them.
Cover and the box
The warranty term is the one place the Pro pulls away from the Illumina masks on paper as well as in hardware.
iRESTORE covers the Laser Face Mask Pro for 2 years from the date of purchase. Every Illumina mask in the range carries 1 year, so the Pro is the only one of the four with a second year behind it. The iRESTORE return window across the mask range runs 100 days from the date of purchase.
Six pieces arrive in the box: the mask, the controller with its battery, a USB-C charging cable, adjustable straps, a storage pouch and a microfiber cloth. The straps and the controller are what a first session needs, and the pouch takes the shell once the 10 minutes is done.
The family
Two of the four iRESTORE masks cover the whole face. This one carries laser diodes and LEDs across eight wavelengths in five modes, the Illumina Face Mask carries 360 LEDs across three wavelengths in three modes, and the remaining two are cut for the neck and chest and for the eye area.
A full face LED mask carrying 360 LEDs at 635 nm red, 830 nm infrared and 415 nm blue, in three modes and 10 minute sessions.

Questions
800 emitters in all: 150 laser diodes and 650 LEDs. The laser diodes emit at 660 nm and 850 nm, and the LEDs carry the other six wavelengths in the mask.
Eight. The laser diodes take 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. The LEDs take 633 nm red, 830 nm and 1072 nm near-infrared, 415 nm blue, 532 nm green and 590 nm amber.
Mode 1 Anti-Aging at 70 mW/cm2, Mode 3 Brighten at 93 mW/cm2, Mode 2 Clear at 97 mW/cm2, Mode 4 Restore at 99 mW/cm2 and Mode 5 All Wavelengths at 126 mW/cm2. The fifth lights every emitter in the mask at once.
10 minutes, three to five times a week, and the length holds on all five modes. The mode is chosen on the controller before the session starts.
The Pro holds 800 emitters including 150 laser diodes, across eight wavelengths, in five modes reaching 126 mW/cm2, with a 2 year warranty. The Illumina Face Mask holds 360 LEDs and no laser diode at all, across three wavelengths, in three modes reaching 60 mW/cm2, with a 1 year warranty. Both are current iRESTORE masks and both run 10 minute sessions.
The build is an expanded unisex one with more room around the face and the nose than the Illumina Face Mask, and the shell reaches down over the chin and the jowl line. Adjustable straps set how firmly it sits.
Yes. Built-in silicone eye shields are moulded into the shell and they help reduce excess light around the eyes, so a session can be spent reading, working or getting ready.
Over the USB-C charging cable that arrives with it. The battery sits in the controller, which is also where the five modes are selected.
Six pieces: the mask, the controller with its battery, a USB-C charging cable, adjustable straps, a storage pouch and a microfiber cloth.
2 years from the date of purchase. It is the only one of the four iRESTORE masks with a two year term, and the three Illumina masks all carry one year.
The iRESTORE window across the mask range is 100 days from the date of purchase, with the return authorisation raised between day 70 and day 100.
The Illumina Eye Mask, which runs 180 LEDs at 633 nm and 830 nm over the eye area and holds a 5 minute session. The Pro covers the whole face and runs 10 minutes.
