Jugs 14-Softball Lite-Flite Feeder

The Jugs 14-Softball Lite-Flite Feeder is a ball feeder that gives the Jugs Lite-Flite Machine extended hands-off, consistent pitching. Fourteen Lite-Flite softballs sit in the drum, one drops into the machine every six seconds, and the round runs for 84 seconds without anyone touching it. It is 15 pounds of durable lightweight steel, easy to carry and light enough that it won't weigh the machine down. It attaches directly to the pad bracket with no tools. One power source runs both the Lite-Flite Machine and the feeder, so there is no second cord to run.

It takes Lite-Flite Softballs only, and the six-second interval is the clock a coach builds a session around. It is built for backyard players, youth leagues, high schools and colleges working on hitting without a second person at the machine.

Fourteen Lite-Flite softballs is one round of fourteen swings. Reload while the hitter walks off the tension, then go again. Two hitters alternating rounds means one is always resting while the other works, and neither of them is feeding the machine. For a longer block, a second bucket of Lite-Flite softballs beside the Lite-Flite Machine keeps the reload to a few seconds.

The feeder releases a pitch every 6 seconds with nobody standing at the machine, so a hitter can work alone or two hitters can trade rounds.

A full drum in 84 seconds
Fourteen balls at one every 6 seconds is ten pitches a minute, and a full drum is one round before somebody reloads. A coach running a long session either collects balls between rounds or keeps a second bucket at the machine.
