Surface EMG Enters The Ladder

The sensor added here is the K-Myo, supplied with its accessories. It is a surface electromyograph, and it measures muscle activation. Six sensors below it record how much force was produced and through what range; the K-Myo records which muscle was working while that happened, and when it started. That is a different class of information, and it is the reason this rung exists.

Its buyer is the practitioner or performance team who has run out of answers that a force number alone can give, and who wants activation timing recorded alongside it. This is also the first rung whose RFA listing names the top of the software ladder: a one-year Kinvent Physio subscription on the EXCELLENCE tier.
