First Rung Of The Ladder
Three wireless sensors and one year of software. K-Push is a handheld dynamometer that reads isometric muscle strength through compression. K-Pull is a traction dynamometer that reads tensile force along an anchored line. K-Move is a connected goniometer that reads joint range of motion in degrees. Between them they cover the three quantities a clinician reaches for first: how hard someone pushes, how hard someone pulls, and how far a joint travels.
This is the entry point for a practitioner who has been recording assessments by hand and wants figures on the record. All three sensors report into the Kinvent app, so a push test and a range-of-motion reading land in the same place under the same profile. The pack ships on the STARTER tier of Kinvent Physio for a year, which carries three terminals and three patient profiles. The rung above it on this ladder holds the identical tier, so the move from here to the Starter Pack is a hardware move alone.
The Tier You Land On
Kinvent publish their subscription tiers as a table on their support site, and this pack sits on the first of the three. Two figures and one comparison cover almost everything that tier decides.
What The Pack Records
Every figure below is a measurement one of these three sensors takes and files against a profile in the Kinvent app.
The Three Sensors
The tester holds the sensor against the limb, the person presses into the contact pad, and two flat 50 kg load cells convert that push into a force figure. Kinvent publish force measurement up to 90 kg with 0.1 kg accuracy and state the sensor was validated against an Electroforce testing system. It is the make-test tool of the pack and the one most sessions open with. Full detail sits on the Kinvent K-Push page.
The sensor sits inline between an anchor point and a strap, handle or band, and reads the tension running through that line. Loading through an anchor keeps the tester out of the load path, so the ceiling on the number belongs to the athlete rather than to whoever is holding the device. That is why Kinvent name the isometric mid-thigh pull and the Nordic hamstring test among its protocols. See the Kinvent K-Pull page for the full specification.
Where the other two read force, this one reads angle. A nine-degree-of-freedom inertial unit combining an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a magnetometer resolves the joint angle, and Kinvent publish accuracy better than 0.5 degrees with minimal drift over time. The reading lands in the app under the open profile, which removes the transcription step between the measurement and the record. The Kinvent K-Move page carries the rest.
Where It Gets Used
These are the use cases Kinvent list for the three sensors in this pack, kept in their own terms.
The Pack Ladder
Each pack on this ladder is a set of sensors plus a one-year Kinvent Physio subscription. Discovery sits at the bottom with three sensors, and every pack above it carries those same three and adds to them.

Trusted & Certified
These are the certifications and registrations Kinvent publish for their platform and their quality and information security systems. They cover the company and its medical device and data handling, not a performance claim about this sensor.
Who Uses Kinvent
