NOHRD TriaTrainer Exercise Bench

The NOHRD TriaTrainer Exercise Bench is a folding wooden exercise bench with three modes: an ab trainer, a back trainer and a flat bench. Closed, it takes under one square meter of floor. Laid flat, it runs to 140 x 35 x 44 cm for pressing and dumbbell rows. It weighs 14 kg (31 lb), light enough to move between rooms on your own, and is rated to carry 120 kg (265 lb). The padded footrest adjusts through ten positions to suit different leg lengths. It arrives in one package with no assembly, in six woods with artificial or genuine leather.

Changing position is done by hand on the frame, with no tools and no pins to lose. It runs quietly in use, and it takes bodyweight training, stretching and yoga poses as readily as dumbbell work. Its training profile leans on core and stability first, then strength and muscle building, then back and posture.

Three Modes, One Frame

How it works

Ab-Trainer Mode
In the closed position the TriaTrainer is a compact wedge measuring 90 x 35 x 55 cm, which puts its footprint under one square meter. The shape supports the lower back and hips through abdominal work while the padded footrest anchors the feet. Closed is also how it stores, standing against a wall at 55 cm tall.

Back-Trainer Mode
Unfolding one side brings the TriaTrainer to its middle position, a semi-bench angled for back extensions and glute bridges. The angle puts the hips over the pad and leaves the torso free to travel.

Flat Bench Mode
Fully extended, the TriaTrainer lies flat at 140 x 35 x 44 cm. Laid flat, the pad is 44 cm off the floor, the height for a dumbbell press, with 140 cm of length under the torso and head.

The Footrest
The padded footrest at the end of the bench adjusts through ten positions, a wide range for a component that most benches fix in one place. Ten settings cover different leg lengths across a household and different amounts of hip flexion within one person's session. Padding on the footrest, in place of a bare bar, keeps a long hold comfortable under the feet.
