Osaki | 4D Panorama
The Osaki 4D Panorama is a 4D massage chair with a 53 in. SL-Track, and that length lets one stroke reach your neck, shoulders, mid back, lower back and glutes. Its rollers travel out of the backrest and back in, changing pace as they go. The track curves with your spine from your neck to the top of your hamstrings, unbroken at the hips, and the chair comes in Black and Brown. An S-track is the shorter rail, stopping at the lower back and handing your glutes and hamstrings to the airbags.
On top of that track sits the largest program library in this group: 24 auto massage programs and 6 manual massage modes. Before every session an automatic computer body scan reads the length and shape of your back, so the rollers know where your shoulders sit. The 4D mechanism lets those programs vary how deep the rollers push and how fast they work inside one stroke. A 3D mechanism is the same hardware without that last part, so you set a depth and it holds for the whole pass. Zero gravity reclining comes in three stages, and zero gravity is the position that lifts your knees above your heart so your weight comes off your spine. Around you sit 24 air cells, and an air cell works by inflating to squeeze a limb and deflating to let it go. Heat therapy runs at the lumbar and the calves. Under each foot the chair works triple reflexology, and reflexology is the name for pressure applied to specific points of the sole. The middle roller of the three is the one that heats, across three levels you set yourself. Intelligent voice command and a touchscreen remote drive all of it. The Panorama reclines all the way with 5 in. behind it, weighs 222.7 lb, takes a user to 270 lb, and comes in Black or Brown.
Inside the chair
The Panorama gets its reach from geometry: a 53 in. track, rollers carried along it on a dual guide rail, 24 auto programs and only five inches of room needed behind the backrest.
The list
The 4D Panorama comes in Black and Brown with the same specification in each, from the 53 in. track to the heated reflexology rollers under your feet.
Closer look
A 53 in. track earns its length only if the rollers land in the right place on it, which is the job of the automatic computer body scan. The scan reads your contours at the start of the session and sets roller position and intensity from what it finds, so the stroke follows your shoulder line. From there the track covers five zones in one pass: neck, shoulders, mid back, lower back and glutes, finishing at the top of your hamstrings. The 4D mechanism adds depth, speed and rhythm variation on top of the three axes a 3D roller moves through.
The foot section is where the Panorama does the most per square inch. Three rollers cross each sole from heel to ball over shaped reflexology ridges, and the middle rollers carry three levels of heat you set from the remote. Above them, signature deep calf kneading applies focused rotational pressure to your calf, and the lumbar and calf heat therapy runs at 75 to 83 degrees F. The automatic extendable footrest moves out up to 5.5 in. to put a longer leg where it needs to be, with no manual adjustment.
The Panorama weighs 222.7 lb, under the 243 lb of the Avalon and the 245 lb of the OS Pro Maestro. It needs a 29.5 in. door, second narrowest here behind the Vera at 29 in. Upright it measures 29.5 in. wide by 63.0 in. long by 45.0 in. tall. Reclined it runs 29.5 in. by 75.0 in. by 43.0 in. Maximum user weight is 270 lb. Three-stage zero gravity gives you three stopping points on the way down, so you can take the deep one on the days you want it. Power is a standard household supply at 110 to 120V, 50 to 60Hz.
Compare
Alongside chairs that also run a 4D roller on a track with body scanning and zero gravity, the Panorama brings track length and program count. The Vera leads on style library and capacity, the Avalon on air coverage and body reading, and the two Maestros on heat inside the roller.
