  • Only orders in the contiguous US - It does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico orders or international orders.
  • Financing Fees are non-refundable. These range from 10%-15%.

How do I return my product?

The return process is simple. Just contact a Recovery for Athletes expert to get your Return Authorization (RA) number and the correct address to send your item. Please be sure that the item is returned in its original condition and that it is packed in its original boxes. Products returned improperly will not be accepted. Restocking fees and return shipping charges will apply.

Cancellations

All canceled orders are subject to your cc fees (3%) or if financed through Affirm then it is a 5% fee, which are non-refundable plus a $20 processing fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and any re-consignment fees associated. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

At Recovery for Athletes, your satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be thrilled with your purchase, and we offer a hassle-free return policy to ensure your peace of mind.

You have a generous 30-day window from the ship date to make a decision about your purchase. Our return policy applies to all manufacturers except UltraComfort and our Refurbished/Open Box/Certified Pre Owned chairs, as they no longer accept returns or swaps due to buyer's remorse. However, if your chair arrives damaged, they will promptly replace it.

If you'd like to explore other chair options within our selection, we value your loyalty and will cover the fees associated with switching to a different chair that better suits your needs.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the item is repackaged in its original packaging with all parts, hardware, controller, and accessories. If the original packaging is unavailable, suitable repackaging will be required, and additional white glove pickup fees may apply.

Please note that our return policy applies to orders within the continental US only. If your chair was shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or internationally, the shipping fees likely amounted to $800-$1200 each way.

In the unlikely event of any quality issues with your chair, we are committed to finding a resolution. We will work closely with you to facilitate repair, replacement, or exchange. However, if you decline these options, you will be responsible for the shipping costs in both directions and any applicable restocking fees.

Restocking fees are common in the industry, and rates may vary. Currently, Human Touch and Cozzia charge a restocking fee of 15%, while Synca has a restocking fee of 20%.

NOTE: We are on your side and strive to provide you with exceptional service, if you have any questions or concerns regarding your order or return, call us at (704) 486-2384.

Osaki | OS-Pro Maestro

Osaki OS Pro Maestro Massage Chair

The Osaki OS-Pro Maestro is the chair for the person who wants the controls, not the presets. Its 4D massage mechanism takes 8 levels of depth adjustment, and behind that sit three more scales of five: 5 strength settings, 5 intensity settings and 5 speed settings. Four manual styles, kneading, tapping, shiatsu and rolling, each carry 4 characteristics of their own. That is a lot of knobs for a chair whose auto library stops at 8 programs, and it is the point of the OS-Pro Maestro. You are meant to build the session.

The hardware underneath is a heated back roller, and it is the feature that separates both Maestros from the rest of this group. The roller itself warms as it works, so the heat travels from the neck to the hamstrings with the massage, and no fixed pad has to do the job. Add computerized body scanning, deep calf kneading, zero gravity reclining, surround sound Bluetooth speakers in the headrest and a shortcut panel on the inner armrest, and the OS-Pro Maestro sits 3 in. from the wall, fits users from 4 ft 9 in. to 6 ft 4 in., and takes 260 lb. One note before you go further: this chair and the Osaki OS-Pro Maestro LE are the same platform. The section below says exactly what separates them.

Inside the chair

Heat in the Roller, and Control in Your Hands

Two things define the OS-Pro Maestro: where the heat lives, and how many settings you can move. The fourth card answers the question every buyer at this price asks next.

🌡
Heated Back Roller
On most chairs the heat is a pad behind the lumbar and the roller passes over it. On the OS-Pro Maestro the roller is the heater. It warms as it travels, which Osaki compare to hot stones moving up the back, and it means the warm surface covers the whole length of the stroke from the neck to the hamstrings, where a fixed panel warms one spot. Warm tissue takes a deeper roller more comfortably, and this is the only way of delivering it in this group of five apart from the Maestro LE.
Neck to hamstrings
🎛
Eight Levels of 4D, and Three Scales of Five
The 4D mechanism adjusts through 8 levels of depth. On top of that the OS-Pro Maestro gives you 5 strength adjustments, 5 intensity adjustments and 5 speed adjustments for the rollers. Four manual styles, kneading, tapping, shiatsu and rolling, each carry 4 characteristics. You can pin the massage to a single spot on the back or run it by section: shoulders, arms, lower back or calves.
8 x 5 x 5 x 5
🔍
Computerized Body Scanning and Auto Leg Scan
Two scans set the chair up. The body scan maps the neck and back and detects shoulder height so the pressure lands where the muscle is, and you can recalibrate it once the scan finishes if it reads you short or tall. At the other end the ottoman scans the legs: the footrest extends and retracts, and you press with your feet when the length is right. The remote can also drive the leg section out or in by hand.
Recalibrate after scan
Maestro or Maestro LE?
Both chairs list at the same price and run the same platform: a 4D mechanism, a heated back roller, an SL-track, computerized body scanning, 8 auto programs and 6 massage styles, deep calf kneading, zero gravity, space saving and a shortcut panel. On Osaki's features lists the LE adds exactly two lines: touchscreen control, and USB and wireless phone charging. The specification sheets then differ in ways that matter more than that. Take the Maestro if you are shorter than 5 ft 0 in. or taller than 6 ft 3 in., or if the chair has to sit 3 in. from the wall. Take the LE for the touchscreen tablet remote and the wireless charging pad.

Control

Four Styles, Four Characteristics Each, Eight Programs by Name

The eight auto programs on the OS-Pro Maestro have names, and Osaki publish all of them: Demo, Relax, Swing, Stretch, Scrapin, Shiatsu, Lady and Gentleman. The manual side is where the chair earns its keep. Kneading, tapping, shiatsu and rolling each come with 4 characteristics, and there are separate custom settings for neck and shoulder, lower back and air massage. The slim LCD remote puts recline, incline, auto and home on four physical buttons at the bottom and everything else behind a touch screen, and the session timer runs from 5 minutes to 30 minutes in 5-minute steps.

  • 8 auto programs: Demo, Relax, Swing, Stretch, Scrapin, Shiatsu, Lady, Gentleman
  • Manual styles with 4 characteristics each
  • Custom settings for neck and shoulder, lower back and air massage
  • Timer from 5 to 30 minutes in 5-minute steps

Deep Calf Kneading Starts With a Squeeze

Deep calf kneading on the Maestro runs in two moves. The calf section inflates first to the right amount of pressure, holding the muscle against the panel, and only then does the kneading motion start. Holding the calf before working it is what makes the difference between a squeeze and a massage. Underneath, spinning reflexology rollers travel along the sides and the middle of each foot. Air completes the picture, with bags at the shoulders, the arms, the waist and pelvis, and the calves and feet.

Track

SL-Track, L-Track, and Why This Page Says Both

Osaki's current features list for this chair reads SL-Track. Osaki's own body copy calls it an L and S track and describes the two halves separately: the S-track section contours the natural curve of the spine, and the L-track section carries on past the lower back and wraps underneath the back of the thighs. Osaki put the L-track section at about 50 percent more massage area than an average S-track chair. The two names describe the same piece of hardware, and we are printing both so you can match this page against a spec sheet that uses either one.

  • Features list reads SL-Track
  • S-track section follows the curve of the spine
  • L-track section wraps under the back of the thighs
  • About 50 percent more area than an average S-track, per Osaki

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

They are the same platform at the same price, and the honest answer is that the difference is small. Osaki's features list for the Maestro LE carries every line this chair's list carries, plus exactly two more: Touchscreen Control and USB and Wireless Phone Charger. Where the two really separate is the specification sheet. This Maestro fits users from 4 ft 9 in. to 6 ft 4 in. and sits 3 in. from the wall; the LE fits 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 3 in. and needs 5 in. The LE is also the wider chair at 31.9 in. against 30 in. here, and it draws 250 W against 156 W. Buy this Maestro if the household includes someone under 5 ft or over 6 ft 3 in., or if the wall space is tight. Buy the LE for the tablet remote and the wireless charging pad.
Yes. Osaki's copy for this chair describes a USB outlet at the inner armrest alongside the shortcut panel, so you can charge a phone or tablet mid-session. Only the wireless charging pad is exclusive to the Maestro LE. The features metafield for this chair does not list the USB outlet even though the body copy describes it, which is worth knowing if you are comparing the two lists line by line.
The roller itself heats up while it massages, which Osaki describe as hot stones working the muscle at the same time. Because the heat is in the moving part, the warm surface covers the whole stroke from the neck to the hamstrings, where a fixed panel warms only the lumbar. Osaki do not publish a temperature figure or a number of heat levels for this chair.
The features list reads 8 auto programs and 6 massage styles. Osaki name the eight programs: Demo, Relax, Swing, Stretch, Scrapin, Shiatsu, Lady and Gentleman. Note a conflict in Osaki's own material: the body copy for this chair names only four manual styles, kneading, tapping, shiatsu and rolling, against the 6 on the features list. We print the features-list figure of 6 and flag the gap on the page.
Four separate scales. 8 levels of 4D depth adjustment, plus 5 strength, 5 intensity and 5 speed settings for the rollers. Each of the manual styles also carries 4 characteristics of its own, and you can hold the massage on one spot or run it by section: shoulders, arms, lower back or calves.
Osaki's features list reads SL-Track, and that is the term we use. Their body copy for the same chair calls it an L and S track and splits it in two: the S section contours the curve of the spine, and the L section runs past the lower back and wraps under the back of the thighs. Same hardware, two names in Osaki's own material.
The scan maps the key areas of the neck and back and detects your shoulder height so the rollers apply pressure in the right place. It can be recalibrated once the scan is complete, which matters if you sit low in the seat or wear a thick layer during the scan.
3 in. from the backrest to the wall. The chair slides forward as it reclines. That is the closest figure of the five chairs in this group, and closer than the 5 in. the Maestro LE asks for.
Osaki give a recommended height range of 4 ft 9 in. to 6 ft 4 in. and a maximum user weight of 260 lb. The height range is wider at both ends than the Maestro LE's 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 3 in., which makes this the better of the two for a household with a short and a tall user.
Published figures are a height of 47.5 inches, a width of 30 inches and a chair weight of 245 pounds. The seat is 22 inches deep and 20 inches wide. Osaki do not publish an upright and reclined length pair for this chair the way they do for the Maestro LE, so measure the room with the recline in mind.
Bluetooth speakers sit in the headrest, in what Osaki call an amphitheater sound system that cuts surrounding noise. Osaki advise pairing at the lowest volume and raising it from there. A blue light on the speakers shows when your device has synced.
Power supply is 110V and rated power is 156W, a standard household outlet. The OS-Pro Maestro comes in six finishes: Black and Silver, Black and Gold, Brown, Beige, Navy and Pink.
