Osaki | Model OS-Highpointe 4D
The Osaki OS-Highpointe 4D is a heated 4D massage chair that warms you in six places while its rollers vary both depth and speed as a program runs. A 3D mechanism is the same thing without the speed change. Lumbar heating sits in the frame at your lower back, and calf heating runs inside both calf rests. A heating shawl drapes across your chest and stomach, so warmth reaches the front of you while the rollers work behind. The shawl is a loose piece that comes with the chair, and you can pull it up over your shoulders or leave it in the cupboard.
Reach is the second half of the chair. The SL-track is the single unbroken rail that carries the 4D mechanism from the base of your skull to the edge of your hamstrings. There is no handoff and no gap at the tailbone. An S-track is the shorter rail that stops where your back meets the seat, leaving your glutes and hamstrings to the air. The legrest slides forward nearly 8 in. on its own to find your calves. Each foot gets three rollers, two underneath and one at the calf. Deep Calf Kneading and calf heat are built into the same rests. Forty-four air cells squeeze your arms, shoulders, hips and legs around all of it for a full body air massage. Sixteen auto programs and six manual massage styles run from a touchscreen controller or by voice, and a computerized body scan reads your frame and sets the roller positions before the first stroke. The OS-Highpointe 4D takes a user up to 270 lb, and measures 22 in. across the shoulders and 21 in. across the seat. Zero gravity is the recline that lifts your knees above your heart, and this chair holds two stages of it, with a sleep mode that tips you back further than either.
Heat and reach
The OS-Highpointe 4D spreads heat across six zones, including a shawl you can move, and sends its moving parts out to meet you, with a legrest that slides nearly 8 in. on its own and three rollers working each foot.
The numbers
The OS-Highpointe 4D fits a user up to 270 lb with 22 in. across the shoulders and 21 in. across the seat, and it reclines with 2 in. behind it.
Closer look
The rollers handle your spine and the air cells handle everything the rollers cannot reach, which on the OS-Highpointe 4D means almost all of your arms and legs. Forty-four of them run through the shoulders, arms, hips, calves and feet. They fill and release in sequence, so the compression travels along a limb from one end to the other while the 4D mechanism works your back. A computerized body scan runs before the program and sets where the rollers sit for you, so the air cells and the rollers are both working to the same measured shoulder line. Full body air massage is the term you will see on the spec sheet, and 44 cells is what it means here.
Zero gravity lifts your knees above your heart and tips your torso back, so your weight spreads across the whole backrest and the rollers meet your spine with less of you pressing against them. The OS-Highpointe 4D holds two stages of it, plus a sleep mode that goes deeper again, and you can stop at whichever stage suits the program you are running. Space saving technology slides the seat forward as the back goes down, so the chair needs only 2 in. behind it to recline all the way and can sit against a living room wall. Upright it occupies 34.5 by 61 by 48 in. Reclined it stretches to 69 in. of length while the height drops to 41 in. The space to plan for is the reclined footprint plus those 2 in.
Sixteen auto programs and six manual massage styles run from a touchscreen controller, so changing intensity or moving the rollers to a different zone is one tap. The auto programs play a routine start to finish; the manual styles hand you the technique and let you aim it at one section of your back. Intelligent voice control covers the same ground with your hands where they are, which matters once the shawl is over you and the chair is flat. Surround sound Bluetooth speakers sit up by your head, and a wireless charger tops your phone up while the session runs on its 10, 20 or 30 minute timer.
Compare
All the chairs here run one 4D mechanism on an SL-Track, so the roller path and the adjustable depth are shared, and the OS-Highpointe 4D carries heat to the most places in the group, with lumbar and calf heating plus the shawl over your chest and stomach, and three rollers working each foot.

"I did not see a White Glove delivery option when I checked out so I had to bring it in the house (3 guys) and assemble it myself. Delivery and delivery communication was great. Not too difficult to assemble, but the manual is awful. I don't understand why these companies can't hire someone fluent in various languages to put together decent assembly and user manuals. Chair is pretty powerful. I recommend dropping the 4D setting to it's lowest point until you adapt and see what level is best for you. There's decent variety in the programmed routines. I'm 6'1" and I feel like it might not be suitable for anyone too much taller. I'd buy again."
"Gives a great and incomparable message. Use it daily. Best decision I ever made."
"After doing some research, I discovered that this chair is definitely on the pricier end of the massage chair price spectrum, but let me tell you, it's worth every penny.First and foremost, the chair comes with a 5-year extended guarantee that covers structural problems. That's quite impressive, and it made me feel more confident in my purchase. The warranty also includes in-home parts and maintenance for three years, and if the chair is found defective during that time, Osaki will replace it.The chair's features include cutting-edge 4D massage technology, an air massage system, and heat therapy, all of which deliver an extraordinary level of relaxation and comfort. The air massaging system targets various parts of the body, including the shoulders, arms, feet, and calves, and the chair even has a zero-gravity setting that makes me feel as if I'm floating.I also like that the Highpointe massage chair has a variety of massage modes to choose from, such as kneading, tapping, shiatsu, and a combination of modes. It even features a body scan tool that tailors the massage to your own needs.I'm really pleased with my Osaki Highpointe massage chair purchase. While it is more expensive than other massage chairs, the features, warranty, and general quality make it well worth the money. I strongly recommend it to anyone searching for a high-quality massage chair."
