Portable Sitting Soft Hyperbaric Chamber

OxyRevo Forward90 1.4 to 1.5 ATA Portable Sitting Hyperbaric Chamber

The Forward90 is the soft chamber you sit up in. OxyRevo's other portable models, the Elite32, Elite36, Apex32 and Apex36, are 32 or 36 inch cylinders you lie down in for the whole session. This one is a wide teardrop-shaped cabin, 90 inches long and 47 inches across at its widest point, with an adjustable folding chair supplied inside it. Sit, recline part way or fold the chair down and lie flat. OxyRevo's own line for it is that you can sit, recline or lie down inside the chamber in a more comfortable way.

Two pressure versions are sold at checkout. The 1.4 ATA version is adjustable from 1.1 ATA; the 1.5 ATA version is adjustable from 1.2 ATA. Four large, long multi-layered windows are set into the cabin, the chamber weighs 30 lbs and it runs at 50 dB or under. Covers come in Black, Blue, Grey or White with OEM colours available, and you choose the Pro all-in-one operating unit or the three-machine Standard set on the same page. Chamber material is High Strength TPU with heat-welded seams.

The Build

Four Things That Make A Sitting Chamber A Sitting Chamber

A soft chamber you sit upright in has to solve problems a lying chamber never faces. It needs height and width where your shoulders and head go, something to sit on that adjusts, and a way in and out that works for someone stepping through on their feet. Here is how the Forward90 handles each one.

🪑
The Adjustable Folding Chair
A soft, adjustable folding chair ships inside the chamber and it is the piece that gives the Forward90 its three positions. Set the back upright to sit and read, drop it part way to recline, or fold it flat to lie down. OxyRevo describes it as soft and spacious, and it can be taken out of the cabin entirely. Nothing is bolted in place, so you reset the geometry between sessions in seconds.
Sit, Recline Or Lie Flat
📐
47 Inches Across, 90 Inches Long
The cabin inflates into a teardrop profile: 90 inches (230 cm) end to end and 47 inches at the widest point, which is where your upper body sits. That is 11 inches wider than the widest OxyRevo lying chamber, which is 36 inches across. Four large, long multi-layered windows are cut into it, and OxyRevo's stated reason for glazing this much of the shell is light and an open view from inside.
4 Long Windows
🎛
Two Pressure Versions, One Press
Order the 1.4 ATA version, adjustable from 1.1 ATA, or the 1.5 ATA version, adjustable from 1.2 ATA. A pressure adjustment converter moves the chamber between steps on a single press. OxyRevo's stated reason for building it is ear comfort during the first sessions, so a new user starts at the bottom of the range and works up as their ears settle.
1.1 To 1.5 ATA Range
📊
Curved Zipper, Welded Seams, Dual Gauges
The zipper follows a curve, with a gravity sink holding the zipper track clear of the sealing strip so the two are not dragging on each other. Seams are joined by high-frequency heat welding, with no glue and no stitching. Two high-precision pressure gauges read the chamber, one inside and one outside, and every valve is marked by UV laser, so there is no glued paper label to peel off.

Inside The Forward90

A Closer Look

Blue adjustable folding recliner chair standing upright on its own, supplied with the OxyRevo Forward90
The Chair

The Chair Is The Whole Point

This is the piece that separates the Forward90 from every other portable chamber OxyRevo builds. It is an adjustable folding recliner, listed in the specification sheet simply as ADJUSTABLE, and it comes with the chamber. The backrest sets to more than one angle, so the position you hold for a 60 to 90 minute session is yours to pick. It folds, so it also comes out: OxyRevo states the cabin fits two people with the chair removed. What we will not do is publish a seat height, a weight rating or a recline angle in degrees, because OxyRevo does not publish them.

  • Adjustable folding chair supplied inside the chamber
  • Upright, part-reclined or folded flat
  • Removable, freeing the full 90-inch floor of the cabin
  • Ask us before ordering if you need the chair's exact dimensions

The Cabin

Sitting Up In A 47-Inch Cabin, With Four Long Windows

If the question is how much room and how much light there is around you, the answer is on the spec sheet. You sit up, so the cabin is 47 inches across where your head and shoulders are, and four large, long multi-layered windows run along it. OxyRevo's stated reason for glazing this much of the shell is light and an open view from inside. The curved zipper, the pressure-deflating valves and the emergency valves all work from inside, with the emergency valves rated for exit in 30 seconds, and pressure is on a gauge you can read from your seat.

  • 47" across at the widest point of the teardrop cabin
  • 4 large, long multi-layered windows
  • Emergency valves allow exit from the chamber in 30 seconds
  • Chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside
  • High-precision pressure gauges on both sides of the shell

Where It Lives

Plan For A 90 By 47 Inch Footprint, Plus The Unit

Inflated, the chamber needs a clear run of 90 inches with 47 inches at its widest, and OxyRevo's own facility photography shows it set up in a treatment room with the operating unit beside it. Two numbers matter for a room like that. The chamber is rated at 50 dB or under, and OxyRevo builds the automatic pressure relief valves for quiet operation, with even airflow distribution given as the reason. The chamber itself weighs 30 lbs, so it deflates and relocates without a crew, though the operating unit is the heavy part of the system.

  • Inflated footprint 90" long × 47" at the widest
  • Sound level rated ≤50 dB
  • Chamber weight 30 lbs (15 kg)
  • Internal and external pressure gauges, relief valves and emergency valves
  • Cover colours Black, Blue, Grey or White, with OEM colours available

Pro Or Standard

One Cabinet, Or Three Machines On The Floor

The chamber is the same either way. What changes is the equipment that runs it. The Pro version is a single All-in-One Machine Unit, 27.56" long by 13.78" wide by 29.53" high at 80 kg, holding one air compressor, a 10L oxygen concentrator, two cooling machines, an anion generator, a timing alarm, an oxygen meter, a water container and the air filters, with one-press activation for every function. The Standard version splits the same work across three machines: air compressor AE01, air cooler ZLA01 and oxygen concentrator HG10, each with its own setup and controls. OxyRevo describes both as dehumidifying and cooling systems and calls the Pro unit the stronger of the two. Both are electrically driven with no ice water and no Freon to handle, and in a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable.

  • Pro: one unit, one press, double activated carbon filters
  • Pro: Nano Water Ion technology with an anti-virus system, which OxyRevo rates at a 99% virus sterilization rate
  • Standard: three separate machines, double filters on input and output
  • Standard: lower cost and lighter to transport
  • Both: continuous oxygen production, so there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill

The OxyRevo Sitting Chambers

Standard Forward90 Or Forward90 MINI

OxyRevo builds the sitting chamber in two cabin sizes. Both use High Strength TPU, both run on filtered air, both take the adjustable folding chair, both offer 1.4 or 1.5 ATA and the same Pro or Standard operating unit choice, and both carry the same warranty. The only thing that changes is cabin length, which is really a question about your room and whether you want to lie flat.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Body position. The Elite and Apex chambers are 32 or 36 inches in diameter and you lie down in them. The Forward90 is a 47-inch-wide teardrop cabin with an adjustable folding chair inside, so you can sit up, recline part way or fold the chair flat and lie down. The cabin is still 90 inches long, so lying out fully is still on the table. The wider shape and the curved zipper also make stepping in and out easier than crawling through a 32-inch port.
The chair is included with the chamber. It is an adjustable folding recliner that OxyRevo describes as soft and spacious, and the specification sheet lists it as ADJUSTABLE. The backrest sets upright for sitting, part way down for reclining, and folds flat for lying down, and the whole chair lifts out if you want the bare floor of the cabin. We do not publish a seat height, a recline angle or a chair weight rating, because OxyRevo does not publish them. Message us before you order if you need those figures and we will request them from the factory.
The specifications that bear on it are structural, so here they are. You are sitting upright with 47 inches of cabin width around your head and shoulders. There are four large, long multi-layered windows, and OxyRevo's stated reason for glazing that much of the shell is light and an open view. The zipper, the pressure-deflating valves and the emergency valves all operate from inside, with the emergency valves rated for exit in 30 seconds, and there is a pressure gauge within reach of the seat. Whether that is enough for you is personal, and we would sooner give you the numbers than ask you to take our word for it.
They are separate variants at different prices, and the difference is the top of the range. The 1.4 ATA version is adjustable from 1.1 ATA. The 1.5 ATA version is adjustable from 1.2 ATA. Both use the same one-press pressure adjustment converter to move between steps, and both are pressurized with filtered air. Which pressure is appropriate for you is a question for your physician. If you expect to grow into the higher setting later, buying the 1.5 version now is cheaper than changing chambers.
OxyRevo states the Forward90 is ideal for one person but will fit two if the adjustable reclining chair is removed, and their own copy mentions one adult and one child staying together. That is a statement about the size of the cabin, and it is the only thing we will say about it. Whether two people should share a session, and whether a child should be in a hyperbaric chamber at all, is a decision for a physician. With the chair out you have the full 90-inch length and 47-inch width to work with.
Inflated, the chamber is 90 inches long (230 cm) and 47 inches across at its widest point. Add clear floor at the entry end for getting in and out, and room alongside for the operating unit. The Pro all-in-one unit is 27.56" long by 13.78" wide by 29.53" high; the Standard version needs floor space for three separate machines. Measure the 90-inch run before you order, because that is the dimension rooms usually fail on. If it does not fit, the Forward90 MINI is 66 inches long.
The chamber weighs 30 lbs (15 kg), which puts it within a couple of pounds of the much narrower Elite32 at 28.6 lbs. It deflates and packs down, so relocating the chamber itself is a one-person job. The operating unit is the heavy half of the system: the Pro all-in-one cabinet is 80 kg, and the Standard version gives you three machines to reposition.
No special tools are required. OxyRevo puts first assembly at 30 to 40 minutes, which covers unpacking the chamber, positioning it, connecting the air and oxygen tubing and the power cable to the operating unit, and placing the chair. Two user manuals ship with the product, one for the Standard version and one for the Pro, and both are linked in the specifications tab on this page. Lifetime technical support is included at no cost, so if something does not make sense during setup, call us.
Four covers at checkout: Black, Blue, Grey and White. Grey is the standard cover, and OEM colours are available if a clinic needs the chamber to match its own scheme. Colour is a separate choice from pressure version and from Pro or Standard, so any combination is orderable.
The chamber is identical. The equipment that runs it is not. The Pro version is one All-in-One Machine Unit, 27.56"L × 13.78"W × 29.53"H at 80 kg, containing an air compressor, a 10L oxygen concentrator, two cooling machines, an anion generator, a timing alarm, an oxygen meter, a water container and air filters, with one-press activation for all functions and double activated carbon filters. The Standard version is three separate machines: air compressor AE01, air cooler ZLA01 and oxygen concentrator HG10, each needing its own setup and operation, with double filters on input and output. Standard costs less and ships lighter; Pro is one thing to switch on.
Cooling ships with the chamber either way. The Pro all-in-one unit holds two cooling machines plus a water container; the Standard set includes the ZLA01 air cooler and a humidity water container. OxyRevo describes both as dehumidifying and cooling systems, and the Pro unit as the stronger of the two. It is electrically driven, with no ice water and no Freon to deal with. Practically: in a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable, and we would not plan on long sessions in an unconditioned room in high summer.
The chamber is rated at 50 dB or under. OxyRevo also builds the automatic pressure relief valves for quiet operation, and their stated reason is even airflow distribution to cut valve noise, aimed at people who want to rest or sleep through a session.
No. OxyRevo builds these chambers for owner installation and operation, and the Forward90 can be run from inside or outside the cabin, with a high-precision pressure gauge and pressure-deflating valves on both sides of the shell. Whether hyperbaric sessions are appropriate for you is a separate question, and one for your physician, particularly with any ear, sinus or lung condition.
A typical mild hyperbaric session runs 60 to 90 minutes, 4 to 5 times a week. The common pattern is a block of 40 sessions, then a week off before the next block. For that hour the Forward90 holds you upright in the adjustable chair, and the backrest drops part way for reclining or folds flat if you want to change position.
That varies by individual and is a question for your physician. As a general starting point for wellness use, plan an initial block of 20 sessions and reassess. Recovery For Athletes makes no claims about outcomes from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
A pressure change in the ears as the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, similar to a plane taking off or descending. Swallowing or yawning clears it, and ears commonly adjust after the first few sessions. The pressure converter starting at 1.1 or 1.2 ATA exists for the same reason.
Any loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
Talk to your physician before starting, particularly with any ear, sinus or lung condition. On the equipment side: the chamber is pressurized with filtered air, internal pressure is regulated by the pressure valve and the relief valves, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside. Emergency valves allow exit in 30 seconds. Pressure is shown on high-precision gauges on both sides of the shell, the windows are multi-layered, and every valve is labelled by UV laser so the markings do not peel off with age.
Whether a child should use a hyperbaric chamber is a decision for their physician, and an adult should be operating and supervising the session in every case. We make no claims about hyperbaric oxygen therapy for children or for any condition. On the equipment side: the cabin can be opened from outside as well as inside, four large, long windows give a clear line of sight into the chamber, and OxyRevo states two people fit with the chair removed.
The oxygen concentrator produces oxygen continuously, so there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. Compressor filters are the only components needing routine replacement, every 6 to 12 months depending on use. Spare filters and fuses ship with the chamber.
About 3 weeks. Roughly one week for production and 7 to 10 days for shipping via FedEx Air, with tracking provided when the order ships. Two delivery options are offered. Standard Delivery brings the crated chamber to your location and you handle unloading, uncrating and moving. White Glove Delivery & Chamber Education is full service, covering unloading, setup and cleanup, and the team walks you through operating the chamber.
A 1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, plus lifetime technical support at no cost. If a quality issue arises in the warranty period and can be repaired, OxyRevo supplies replacement parts free and provides step-by-step repair guidance by photo and video. If it cannot be repaired, they send a new machine at no cost.

  • Unique Curved Zipper Shape Design - Oxyrevo has exclusively designed a super smooth and easy-to-use zipper system for its hyperbaric chambers. The curved zipper design incorporates a gravity sink that separates the chamber zippers and sealing strips, thereby reducing mutual friction and making entry and exit of your hyperbaric much smoother and easier.
  • Durable Laser Printing, NO Paper Glued - Cheaply made paper stickers that are glued on will eventually fade and peel off with use, resulting in a poor user experience. To provide our customers a better user experience, Oxyrevo uses UV laser technology to label all valves in clearly, resulting in beautiful, durable, and textured labels, making your use more convenient.
  • Extra Quiet Pressure Relief Valves - It can be quite bothersome when you are trying to sleep inside the hyperbaric chamber and the air relief valves outside are too loud. Oxyrevo has developed quiet automatic pressure relief valves, helps to evenly distribute the airflow, resulting in a significant reduction in noise levels, gives you a peaceful and quiet HBOT benefits environment.
  • Heat Welded: NO Toxic Glues or Sewing - Other manufacturers either use glue to seal chamber joints, which can emit a pungent smell and be harmful to the body, or sew the material seams, which poses a significant risk of damage over time. In contrast, Oxyrevo's portable hyperbaric oxygen chambers have seams that are welded using high-frequency heat welding technology, which is both environmentally friendly and non-toxic, also highly durable.
  • 1.2-1.5ATA Pressure Adjustable - In order to help customers ease the discomfort of ear pressure during initial use of your hyperbaric oxygen chambers, we have created a pressure adjustment converter that allows you to easily set your chamber pressure to 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 ATA with just one press. This exclusive design is only available in Oxyrevo Hyperbaric Chambers and enables you to gradually adjust to the increasing pressure levels of your HBOT session.
  • Dual Pressure Data Display In and Out - It can be bothersome when pressure readings only can be seen outside the chamber, which may result in incorrect operational instructions and potential harm to your body. At Oxyrevo, we use two aviation-grade pressure gauges with high accuracy to ensure that the pressure readings remain consistent and without errors inside and outside the chamber, making the use of HBOT safer for you.

Safety Features

  • Large Window - There are 7 large double-layered heated windows located on the top, bottom, and sides of the chamber, providing a wide and transparent view that allows more light to enter the chamber, NO more claustrophobia.
  • Curved Zipper - Curved zipper with customized medical grade silicone seal strip, makes opening and closing the chambers' zippers very easy and smooth

Glad we did it

"Wow- it works! Easy to set up, we couldn’t find the instructions at first and broadly figured it out without them (they were helpful in the end, but no big deal) and it was in use minutes after we figured it out. A few snafus (the internal dial to seal the unit turns COUNTERclockwise to close! :) but all really easy and very-nearly idiot-proof. We got the pro-unit and it is HEAVY! It’s on wheels and I can easily move it myself on the same floor (I’m a 56 yo woman of average size), but way too heavy to move on stairs, even for two of us. We’re getting professional help for that. That said, the unit is very solid and high quality, so there you go. The chamber itself is constructed very well and is cumbersome but quite light. You’ll want to use the internal metal frame, and the included chair is really comfortable and fits well. The safety features seem very robust and give comfort once you’re in the unit. We didn’t get the air-conditioning add on, but there is some in the unit and it works well enough. Ours is in the mountains at 9100’ elevation and the only time we’ve used the de-humidifier is when two of us are in there. Two isn’t my favorite, but it does work well enough. There is only one oxygen port. When two of us are in there, I get the oxygen because I’m claustrophobic, but my bf isn’t and he does just fine with the ambient oxygen. We also got the red light add on, which is expensive, but it is really high quality - built-in fan, multiple timers, and both Red and IR. It is free floating so you can apply it anywhere, but you have to hold it in place yourself or rig something up. I definitely recommend it, but it’s not a perfect setup. As for the therapy in general - I was really excited to try this for both anti-aging and support for altitude issues. Our house is at 9100’ and we ski 50+ days a year and mountain bike similarly and I struggle a lot, while my boyfriend does not much at all. I have only done 6 sessions so far and can say the following of my experience: -when you get out the first time you are energized and can bolt up stairs and be pretty athletic without oxygen issues for an hour or more, then it slows down -when we get out we are HUNGRY! -definitely bring water in the chamber with you I think I overdid it the first day and I did two sessions in one day. Didn’t hurt me, but I will be keeping it to 3-5 sessions per week from now on. And I can’t wait for ski season!!"

Seamless Upgrade from Lying Models

"I’ve been using the Forward90 for about six weeks now, and I can’t imagine life without it. As someone who works from home, the seated position is perfect—I’ll answer emails or listen to a podcast during my sessions. The pressure is comfortable, and I’ve noticed way less brain fog and fatigue. I was a little nervous about setup, but it was super simple and took me maybe 30 minutes from unboxing to first dive."

Lindsey M. (5/5)

Good for Home Use

"My doctor mentioned hyperbaric therapy to help with circulation and cognitive clarity, and after researching, I decided on the Forward90. I like that I can sit upright and even bring a book inside. It’s been a wonderful tool for both my mind and body. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is I needed help getting it set up, but once it was ready, it’s been simple to use on my own. It’s part of my afternoon routine now."

Patricia Y. (5/5)

Helping Me Stay Active in My 70s

"I’m 72 and still love gardening, walking the beach, and staying busy—but arthritis and general fatigue were starting to slow me down. My daughter helped me purchase the Forward90, and it’s been a blessing. I use it five days a week, usually in the mornings, and I feel noticeably more energized and limber. It’s quiet, easy to get in and out of, and doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all. I’m so grateful I gave this a try."

Nancy W. (5/5)

Great Value for the Features

"I did a ton of research before committing to a chamber, and the Forward90 stood out because of the hybrid design. I love that I can either sit up or kind of recline depending on how I’m feeling that day. I’ve used it almost every day for a month and definitely notice better sleep and less joint stiffness. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the zipper takes a little getting used to—but overall I’d highly recommend it."

Rochelle R. (4/5)

Cut My Recovery Time in Half

"After training 5–6 days a week, recovery is everything for me. I picked up the Forward90 a few months ago and it’s now a permanent part of my post-workout routine. I’ll hop in for 60 minutes after lifting or HIIT sessions and it noticeably reduces soreness and inflammation. Being able to sit upright is a huge plus—I’ll even knock out emails while I’m in it. For the price and portability, this thing punches way above its weight."

Crossfit N. (5/5)

Game Changer

"I wish I had discovered this thing earlier in my career. Im 6'6 and still fit. After games, my knees and back used to be toast. Now I get in the Forward90 for about 45 minutes post-game and wake up the next day feeling way looser. The seated position is perfect because I can stretch a bit inside while I’m pressurized. I’ve even had teammates come over to try it—and now they want one too. Thanks Recovery for Athletes."

Marcus C. (5/5)

Surprised at how Spacious

"I’m 6'2", so I was skeptical that I’d be able to sit comfortably inside a soft chamber like this. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about. The Forward90 gives me enough room to sit upright or lean back with my knees up. I use it after long hikes or workouts, and it makes a noticeable difference in recovery. It's become a key part of my routine, and the build quality feels top-tier for something I can actually move around if needed."
