The ReJuvenate is the biggest light face BioLight builds into a panel: 66 in. tall by 23 in. wide, carrying 1008 LEDs at 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared. BioLight states it is 3 in. taller and 6 in. wider than the version it replaces, with more than 300 additional LEDs, and that this is the first generation of the model to carry both pulsed frequencies and manual brightness adjustment.

Size is the whole argument for a panel this large, and it is an argument about session planning. A 66 in. face stands taller than most people's torso and thigh combined, so a single position in front of it exposes a long run of the body at once, where a shorter panel has to be moved or the person repositioned partway through. Behind that face sit 20 cooling fans and a 3000W draw, controlled from a touchscreen with brightness from 1 to 100%, pulsed frequencies from 0 to 10,000 Hz, three light settings and a programmable timer. It ships at 65 lbs with an optional mobile stand chosen at purchase, and BioLight publishes a 3 year warranty and a 100,000 hour LED lifespan.

What a 66 Inch Face Changes About a Session

Coverage area is the specification that decides how a session is run: how much of the body sits in front of the emitters at one time, and therefore how many positions it takes to get through a session. This is the largest face in the BioLight range and the rest of the panel is built to feed it.

Coverage area is the size of the lit face, and it decides how many positions a session takes. The ReJuvenate's face is 66 in. by 23 in., which stands taller than a torso and thigh together, so one standing position puts a long stretch of the body in front of the emitters at once. A shorter panel covers a zone at a time and the session becomes a sequence of positions with the clock reset for each. BioLight's own guidance is 10 to 20 minutes per session depending on goal, distance and brightness setting, then 3 to 5 sessions per week during an intensive block and 2 to 3 per week after that.

Every LED sits behind a 30 degree focusing lens, which narrows the cone each diode throws so more of its output lands forward on the target area than sideways into the room. The panel runs three settings: red and near-infrared combined, red only, or near-infrared only. BioLight states this generation carries more than 300 additional LEDs over the model it replaces.

Two Irradiance Figures, One Page

BioLight publishes two different irradiance numbers for this panel on the same URL. The spec list inside the description says 56.9 mW/cm2 at 6 in. The Product Specifications block further down the same page says 62.0 mW/cm2 at 6 in. Both are stated at 6 in. and BioLight does not reconcile them. We are printing both, attributed, and treating neither as settled. We have asked BioLight which figure stands.

A 1008 LED array pulls 3000W and needs somewhere for the heat to go, which is what the 20 cooling fans are for. Control is by touchscreen with a programmable timer, brightness from 1 to 100%, and pulsed frequencies from 0 to 10,000 Hz. BioLight publishes light flicker at 1.2% modulation at 60Hz and LED lifespan at 100,000 hours.

The face

Sixty-Six Inches of Emitting Surface

The panel measures 66 in. tall, 23 in. wide and 3 in. deep, and BioLight describes it as their largest. That is 3 in. more height and 6 in. more width than the generation before it, with over 300 extra LEDs filling the added area, for a total of 1008. Each one runs 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared behind a 30 degree focusing lens. At 65 lbs it is heavy enough to want a fixed home or the optional mobile stand, and the depth of 3 in. keeps it close to a wall when it is not in use.

Everything on the ReJuvenate is set from a touchscreen: which of the three light settings runs, how long the timer counts, brightness anywhere from 1 to 100%, and a pulsed frequency anywhere from 0 to 10,000 Hz. BioLight states this is the first generation of the model to carry pulsed frequencies and manual brightness adjustment together, and describes the brightness control as a way to set intensity against comfort, distance and the kind of session you want to run. Frequently Asked Questions

BioLight publishes two different figures on the same page. The spec list inside their product description gives 56.9 mW/cm2 at 6 in. The Product Specifications block further down that same page gives 62.0 mW/cm2 at 6 in. Both share the 6 in. measurement distance, and BioLight does not explain the difference. We are not going to pick one and present it as settled, and we are not going to average them. We have asked BioLight to confirm which figure stands and will publish their answer here.

660nm red and 850nm near-infrared, across all 1008 LEDs. Three settings are available: both together, red only, or near-infrared only. Near-infrared at 850nm sits past what the eye registers, so the near-infrared-only setting looks close to dark while it is running.

BioLight states 10 to 20 minutes per session depending on your goal, your distance from the panel and the brightness setting, then 3 to 5 times per week for an intensive block, dropping to 2 to 3 times per week for maintenance. That guidance is BioLight's own. The programmable timer runs the clock for you.

Each LED sits behind a focusing lens that narrows its output cone to 30 degrees. A narrower cone sends more of each diode's light forward toward whatever is in front of the panel and less of it sideways into the room. It also means the figure you get depends on where you stand, which is why every irradiance figure on this site carries the distance it was measured at.

Four things, all from the touchscreen: the light setting, the timer, brightness anywhere from 1 to 100%, and pulsed frequency anywhere from 0 to 10,000 Hz. BioLight states this is the first generation of the ReJuvenate to carry pulsed frequencies and manual brightness adjustment together.

3000W, with 20 cooling fans built in, both by far the highest figures of any BioLight panel. BioLight does not publish an electrical input range for this model in the way they do for the ReStore and ReCharge, so confirm the circuit with us before installing it in a room with other heavy draws on the same breaker.

Light flicker is given as 1.2% modulation at 60Hz. EMF emission is given as standard magnetic 0.3 mG, standard electric 30 V/m, weighted magnetic 0.3 mG, weighted electric 24 V/m, and RF 0.15 mW/m2. BioLight publishes no measurement distance and no laboratory alongside those EMF readings.
