Free Curbside Delivery

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

Warranty Information

SunRay Saunas carry a 7/1 Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. For warranty claims, please complete and detach the warranty registration card below and send it along with a valid sales receipt to the warranty claims department address below. You can also contact our warranty claim department at warranty@sunraysaunas.com.

The 7-Year SunRay Warranty covers the structure of the sauna which includes the wooden sauna cabin and all glass parts.  All parts including electronic parts and heaters have a 1-Year Warranty. 

Warranty claims will only be resolved with the repair of the current product through a parts replacement or shipment of a replacement product. If the warranty claims department determines that the sauna must be returned, it must be returned with a receipt showing date of purchase, purchase price, and the dealer from which the sauna was purchased. No warranty claim will be honored without a receipt. Improper use or installation or damage resulting from acts of nature is not covered under the sauna warranty. No other warranties expressed or implied shall be in effect in lieu of the 7-Year Warranty and no responsibility is assumed for present or future damage due to misuse. SunRay indoor saunas are intended for INDOOR USE. Use of SunRay Saunas indoor models outside will void the warranty.

Do not use lacquers, paints or abrasive cleaners on the sauna. Do not place the sauna on non-approved surfaces or in outdoor applications. Surface cracks are not considered defects in material or workmanship, as they are considered normal characteristics of all wood."

Four-Person Traditional Barrel Sauna

SunRay Galley 4-Person Barrel Sauna

The SunRay Galley 4-Person Barrel Sauna is a six-by-six-foot red cedar barrel sauna for four, with long side benches you can lie down on. Its heated room is 64 inches deep, 69 inches wide and 69 inches high, with space to entertain guests or for one person to stretch out flat. A 6 kW Harvia electric heater arrives with its stones and brings the cedar up to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Outside, 1 3/8-inch ball-and-socket staves lock together under a shingled roof that sheds the weather.

A delay timer can be set eight hours in advance, so the barrel is ready when your guests are. Stainless steel hardware holds the solid red cedar shell together, and tempered glass fills the front.

The Galley Build

How it works

On a six-by-six-foot footprint, the Galley fits a heated room 64 inches deep, with long benches for four people.

The heated room measures 69 inches wide by 64 inches deep with a 69-inch ceiling, 13 inches deeper inside than the Aurora or the Oasis, so the benches run long down both sides.

Ball-and-socket cedar
Solid red cedar staves, cut from 1 3/8-inch lumber, interlock into one ring around the room. The joint gives a shell that is weather tight, sturdy and durable.

The long side benches run the depth of the barrel, so you can lie down inside the sauna as well as sit. The heated room is 69 inches wide by 64 inches deep with a 69-inch ceiling, and ergonomic backrests come in the box for when you sit up.

Dome light on the cedar wall

Interior dome lighting is fitted on the wall of the barrel behind a cage, casting a low light across the cedar. It does not require an additional electrical circuit of its own.

The accessory kit

SunRay sends an accessory kit with the Galley: a water bucket with ladle, a thermo-hygrometer, a sand timer and the stones for the heater. Ladle water over the hot stones for a burst of steam, and time each round with the sand timer.

Yes, indoors or outdoors. The Galley is solid red cedar cut in a ball-and-socket profile from 1 3/8-inch lumber, with a shingled roof laid over the top half of the barrel.
It needs 72 W x 72 D x 76 H in., six feet by six, measured to the top of the shingled roof. Leave room for the cradles under the shell and for the door to swing, on a concrete pad, deck or other solid surface. Assembly takes about two hours with two to three adults and a Phillips head screwdriver.
Delivery is free curbside via freight to the 48 contiguous states, with free delivery damage insurance included. The freight carrier contacts you 24 to 48 hours ahead to set a day and time Monday through Friday inside a 4-hour window. The sauna arrives strapped to a pallet on a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who unloads to your curbside or driveway only. When the driver unloads, inspect the boxes and note any scratches, dents or scuff marks on the delivery receipt.
A dedicated 220V, 30 amp circuit at 50/60Hz, similar to an electric dryer, for a heater drawing 6000 watts. Any licensed electrician can run one. The interior dome light needs no additional circuit.
The Galley heats up to 170 degrees Fahrenheit, and a built-in delay timer sets the start time up to 8 hours ahead for an evening with friends.
SunRay backs the Galley with 7 years on the structure (the wooden cabin and glass) and 1 year on all parts, including the heater and electronics. Recovery For Athletes is an authorized SunRay dealer.
Both take up six feet by six feet and stand 76 inches tall. The Galley puts 64 inches of depth into the heated room. The Oasis measures 51 inches inside and adds a canopy roof with an exterior bench on each side of the door.
In SunRay's own factory, with orders shipped from its warehouse in Richmond, Virginia. Every sauna goes together once in that factory, then comes apart again onto a pallet for freight.
