Therabody ThermBack LED Heated Wrap

The Therabody ThermBack LED is a heated wrap for the lower back that adds light and vibration to the heat from one belt that fastens around the waist with Velcro. Heat comes in three levels, 102, 107 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit, and a treatment lasts 20 minutes before the wrap switches itself off. One size fits all. The battery gives 180 minutes of use between USB-C charges, enough for nine full treatments, and the wrap weighs 886 g with the battery fitted. A soft travel case and a charging cable come in the box. The wrap is FDA Registered and HSA/FSA Accepted, and a 1-year limited warranty covers it.

Four therapies share that one belt, and the light is the part a heat pad does not have. Heat and light on the same patch of back

A hot water bottle gives you one thing. This belt gives you four, and they are stacked on top of each other across one wide panel. Heat comes off the inner face at one of three levels. Near infrared light comes from the LED panel behind that face. Far infrared comes from the germanium-infused fabric itself. Vibration comes from motors in the same shell. All four reach the lower back at once, which is the argument for a single wrap over a heat pad on the sofa and a light panel on the wall.

What the panel decides

Heat, light and vibration each have their own control on the wrap and can be run together or one at a time. The timings are fixed: the heat and the light stop at 20 minutes, the light array works to a 10-minute session inside that window, and vibration ends at 20 minutes as well. Leave the wrap untouched for 10 minutes and it powers down by itself.

It takes no attachments and runs entirely from its own controls. It is a lower-back garment, so a knee or a shoulder is a job for the RecoveryTherm Knee or the RecoveryTherm Cube.
