Chattanooga Hydrocollator Terry Foam Fill Heat Pack Cover

The Chattanooga Hydrocollator Terry Foam Fill Heat Pack Cover is a heat pack cover for Hydrocollator HotPacs, built to insulate the heat while protecting the patient from excessive heat exposure. It has polyurethane foam between two layers of terry for added patient comfort. It is cut for the Standard, Neck contour and Oversize HotPacs in four sizes. Standard runs 19 x 27 in. or 17 x 27 in., beside a 25 x 16 in. Neck contour and a 24 x 36 in. Oversize. Pockets come on the 17 x 27 in. Standard and one Oversize build. Washable, it suits home or light clinic use with a one-year warranty.

There is no foam cover in the Spinal, Spinal large, Knee and Shoulder, Half or Hand sizes, so those packs are wrapped in a towel. The cover goes between a heated HotPac and the patient, on packs lifted out of the mobile SS-2, M-2 and M-4 or the tabletop E-1 and E-2. Always wrap a HotPac in a towel or terry cover before handling it or applying it to a patient, and DO NOT apply a HotPac directly to skin. The all-terry microfiber cover has no foam layer.
