Human Touch Gravis ZG Chair

The Gravis is the wood-framed chair in Human Touch's zero gravity range, and it is the one you specify. Three frame finishes, Beech, Black and Mahogany, crossed with five leather pad sets, Gray, Saddle, Sand, Bone and Black. Fifteen combinations, and every one of them carries the same price, which is worth saying out loud because on the Perfect Chairs the upholstery choice is what sets the price. Human Touch's spec table for the Gravis gives a maximum load weight of 400 lb and a height range of 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 0 in. It also gives the smallest rear clearance of any recliner they make: 3 in.

Where the Gravis separates from the other two ZG chairs is what the chair does once you are in it. Air massage runs with both Massage and Stretch programs, heat is published in three areas covering the back, seat and leg sections, and the positioning is powered throughout, including the headrest. Air Massage, Massage and Stretch

Human Touch names this Air Massage Technology and lists both Massage and Stretch programs on it. Air massage applies pressure by inflation against the body, with no roller and no track anywhere on this chair. The Stretch programs use the powered positioning to hold an extended shape while pressure runs. Human Touch publishes no airbag count, no pressure figure and no program count, so those three rows stay empty here. The other two ZG chairs offer vibration only, which makes this the one ZG chair with a compression massage on the sheet.

Human Touch publishes Multiple Heat Zones and names the areas as back, seat and leg. Three areas is one more than the Vesta ZG, which heats the back and seat only, and matches the Laevo ZG. Human Touch publishes a height range of 5 ft 0 in. to 6 ft 0 in. and a maximum load weight of 400 lb in the Gravis spec table. The seat measures 24 in. wide by 20 in. deep, the widest seat of the three ZG chairs; no seat height is published. Read both fit figures off this page only. The Laevo ZG and the Vesta ZG share the 6 ft 0 in. height range but are both rated 285 lb, so a load figure carried from one ZG chair to another will be wrong.

Both extend parts and in-home service for consumer use and both are end-user coverage with no commercial use. Human Touch also offers an extended warranty directly on its own Gravis page.
