Power Recline on Two Separate Axes

Human Touch publishes this as smooth power recline functionality that adjusts recline angle and leg elevation independently. Two settings, two controls. A single-axis chair fixes the leg angle to the back angle, so reclining further always raises the legs further; here you can hold a shallow back angle with the legs high, or the reverse. Human Touch publishes no degree range for either axis and no count of preset positions, which is consistent across every recliner they make.

Power-Adjustable Lumbar System

Arrives with the Performance package and carries through to Supreme. It is a powered adjustment behind the lower back, so the amount of support at the lumbar curve becomes a setting you change on a control while seated, where an unpowered chair leaves it as a fixed shape molded into the pad. Human Touch publishes no travel distance, no pressure figure and no motor specification for it, and it is the reason a Performance or Supreme PC-610 has a power hub whichever way the chair reclines.

Headrest, Armrests and the Tuxedo Back

The articulating headrest and the extended armrests are in the Comfort package, so every PC-610 has both. The headrest angle moves separately from the backrest, which matters once the back is past vertical and a fixed headrest would push the chin down. The extended armrests run the length of the reclined position. The tuxedo back cover is Supreme only and is a finish detail on the outside of the backrest.

Comfort, Performance and Supreme are the same three packages on the PC-610 and the PC-420, and the package is the single biggest decision on either chair. The package sets more than the padding: it also decides the upholstery material, and the material decides which colors you can have.

Two Angles You Set Independently

Reclined with the wood base doing the visible work, this is the position the chair is bought for. A motor takes it through the arc, and the recline angle and the leg elevation sit on separate controls, so back angle and leg angle are two settings you hold and either can move while the other stays put. Human Touch calls the result virtually infinite comfort positions, which is a way of saying the chair stops where you stop holding the button. No recline angle in degrees and no count of preset positions is published anywhere.

From behind, in Matte Black, you can see the mechanism housing that the 9 in. rear clearance figure exists for. The chair arrives as two cartons, a 98 lb base and a 23 lb pad set, so the two halves are joined on site. Cord management is a Supreme matter: that package is the only one with integrated controls and a power hub, which leaves the cord routing on a Comfort or Performance chair for you to solve in the room. The same holds on the manual PC-420, where Performance and Supreme still need an outlet.

The PC-610 reclines under power on two independent axes; the PC-420 reclines on your own body weight. Both offer the same three base finishes and the same three upholstery packages, both carry a 400 lb maximum load weight, both need 9 in. of rear clearance, and both are warranted 7 years structural, 7 years parts and 7 years labor. The dimensions differ slightly: the PC-610 is 46 in. L x 32 in. W x 46 in. H upright, the PC-420 is 47 in. L x 31 in. W x 51 in. H. Choose on the mechanism.

Work from the material first, because the package decides it. Comfort is SofHyde in black only and gives you the cushioned body pad, extended armrests and articulating headrest. Performance is Premium Leather in six colors and adds Memory Foam PLUS seating and the power-adjustable lumbar system. Supreme is Premium Leather and adds the Far-infrared Jade Stone Heat System, integrated controls with a power hub and cord management, and a tuxedo back cover. They are cumulative, so Supreme contains everything in the two below it.

Three base finishes: Walnut, Dark Walnut and Matte Black. The pad set color follows the package. Comfort is Black SofHyde and Human Touch offers no alternative. Performance and Supreme are Premium Leather, and Human Touch's own storefront lists Oak, Saddle, Gray, Ivory, Black and Espresso. Human Touch publishes no height range for the PC-610, and none for the PC-420 or PC-365 either. Height range appears only on the massage chairs and the three ZG chairs. The closest published figures are the seat, 23 in. wide by 19 in. deep by 19 in. high, and the reclined length of 64 in. We will not print a height ceiling Human Touch has not published. If a specific user height decides the purchase, ask us and we will put the question to Human Touch in writing.

There is no temperature range, no zone count, no wattage and no timer anywhere on their product page. What you feel is warmth at the surfaces the pad set covers. Anyone quoting you a temperature or a heat output figure for this system is not reading it off Human Touch's specification, because the specification does not contain one.

Yes, and so does a Comfort PC-610, because the recline itself is powered on this model. The power-adjustable lumbar system arrives at Performance and the Far-infrared Jade Stone Heat System arrives at Supreme, so the number of powered functions goes up as you go up the packages. Only Supreme includes the integrated controls with a power hub and cord management. Human Touch publishes no voltage and no wattage for this chair, so plan an outlet within reach of the chair position and ask us if you need a figure confirmed.

That matters because on most Human Touch products the headline figure covers only the frame; every Novo chair is 5 years structural but 1 year labor, and the PC-365 is 3 years structural and 1 year labor. On the PC-610, a covered failure in year six is a covered part and a covered service call. Human Touch's schedule places the PC-610, PC-420 and PC-600 in this band for units purchased from 5 January 2022. Exclusions they name include normal wear such as foam softening, leather texture variation and creasing, damage from animals or pests, and damage from power surges.

No, and that is deliberate on Human Touch's side. The zero gravity recliner protection plans name four chairs, the Gravis ZG, Laevo ZG, Vesta ZG and PC-365, and the PC-610 is not among them. With 7 years of parts and 7 years of labor already on the chair from the factory, there is nothing for a 3-year or 5-year plan to extend. If you want that in writing before purchase, ask us and we will get it confirmed.

In two cartons. The base is 42 in. L x 30 in. W x 27 in. H at 98 lb gross and the pad set is 45 in. L x 29 in. W x 9 in. H at 23 lb gross. The two arrive separately and have to be joined, so assembly is required unless you take the White Glove upgrade, which covers first-floor delivery, assembly in the room of your choice and removal of all packaging. Standard To Your Door delivery is free to the 48 contiguous states and places the cartons at the front door, first floor only. Inspect both cartons and document any damage at the door, because Human Touch states in writing that shipping damage is not a warranty defect and must be reported at the time of delivery.

Because Human Touch changed the displayed name. Their own storefront now shows this chair as the Perfect Chair PC-610 Omni-Motion Recliner, while the dealer listing and the product URL both still carry Omni-Motion Classic. It is the same chair and the same specification under both names. We keep Classic in the title because that is how it is ordered.
