Return Policy Guidelines

  • Must be returned in its original boxes. If not an additional charge will be applied.
  • White-Glove Delivery is Non-Refundable. This is an additional service and therefore cannot be refunded. If you do return your chair and want white glove pickup, then there will be an additional charge applied.
  • Only orders in the contiguous US - It does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico orders or international orders.
  • Financing Fees are non-refundable. These range from 10%-15%.

How do I return my product?

The return process is simple. Just contact a Recovery for Athletes expert to get your Return Authorization (RA) number and the correct address to send your item. Please be sure that the item is returned in its original condition and that it is packed in its original boxes. Products returned improperly will not be accepted. Restocking fees and return shipping charges will apply.

Cancellations

All canceled orders are subject to your cc fees (3%) or if financed through Affirm then it is a 5% fee, which are non-refundable plus a $20 processing fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and any re-consignment fees associated. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order.

You have a generous 30-day window from the ship date to make a decision about your purchase. Our return policy applies to all manufacturers except UltraComfort and our Refurbished/Open Box/Certified Pre Owned chairs, as they no longer accept returns or swaps due to buyer's remorse. However, if your chair arrives damaged, they will promptly replace it.

If you'd like to explore other chair options within our selection, we value your loyalty and will cover the fees associated with switching to a different chair that better suits your needs.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the item is repackaged in its original packaging with all parts, hardware, controller, and accessories. If the original packaging is unavailable, suitable repackaging will be required, and additional white glove pickup fees may apply.

Please note that our return policy applies to orders within the continental US only. If your chair was shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or internationally, the shipping fees likely amounted to $800-$1200 each way.

In the unlikely event of any quality issues with your chair, we are committed to finding a resolution. We will work closely with you to facilitate repair, replacement, or exchange. However, if you decline these options, you will be responsible for the shipping costs in both directions and any applicable restocking fees.

Restocking fees are common in the industry, and rates may vary. Currently, Human Touch and Cozzia charge a restocking fee of 15%, while Synca has a restocking fee of 20%.

Conditions/Fine Print

  • Due to factory personalization and cost, the return policy does not apply to Luraco i9 Max Billionaire Edition and Luraco i9 Max Royal Edition.
  • For Medical Breakthrough Chairs Only- Once you receive the chair, you have 7 days to use the chair. If you are unhappy with your chair for whatever reason, please call us to request a return merchandise authorization number. You can return the chair within 7 days of receiving it. Please remember that all items for return should be in their original condition and packaging. The original packaging can be purchased for $550 which includes all of the pads and boxes if you do not have it. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to keep the original cartons and packaging. You must also put the chair back in the original packing and strap it on the pallet it came in prior to the freight company picking it up. Customers are responsible for all freight shipping charges and white glove fees, as well as a 25% restocking fee no matter what was offered when you purchase the chair. After receiving the massage chair and inspection, we will issue a refund of the chair. Please note that to be eligible for return, items must be in resalable condition, including all product documentation, and shipped within 30 days RMA was issued.

JPMedics Kumo Massage Chair

The JPMedics Kumo Massage Chair is a Japanese made massage chair with 4D massage roller with an advanced L-Track. Unlike most Japanese massage chairs, The Kumo also features Zero Gravity Recline and Reflexology Foot Rollers.

Adding only what's needed and removing the rest is a traditional Japanese design approach and is the inspiration for the simplified interface that controls the Kumo massage chair. Limited Warranty:

The warranty posted here my not apply to your product. Any changes to the warranty posted here will not affect your original warranty. The applicable warranty for your product is included in your product documentations. JPMEDICS customer service will not issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for products. JPMEDICS products will be either repaired by the consumer or by an in-home technician.             JPMEDICS will not issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for buyer’s remorse.

Service and Technical Support:

Consumers are required to provide the unit serial number and dated proof of purchase (sales receipt) when they contact the JPMEDICS service department regarding a repair.A JPMEDICS customer service representative will attend to most consumer inquiries, but in some cases a technical service specialist will provide advanced support. Non-warranty repair is provided on a “per incident” basis. JPMEDICS customer service will verify that the unit has failed and provide instructions for repairing a unit. All applicable repairs, parts, shipping, handling, local tax, and a “per incident” fee will be charged for non-warranty repairs and support calls. Proof of purchase (original receipt) is required for all warranty repairs or service.

Product Repairs

Many JPMEDICS product repairs may be performed by the consumer in their own home with parts and instructions supplied by JPMEDICS such as remote control replacements which don’t require a technician.Floor Models and Demonstration Units have a prorated warranty period that begins the day the model is placed on the floor and connected to an electrical outlet by retail partner. Proof of purchase is required in order to obtain warranty service and parts. Non-warranty parts and service are available at a “per incident” charge.Warranty Coverage Period – Warranty coverage starts at the time that the consumer PURCHASES their chair. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty repairs. The warranty time period is measured by continuous calendar days based on a seven-day week.Field Service – JPMEDICS customer service department will diagnose and schedule an authorized service provider to repair the chair in the consumer’s residence.Parts – All parts deemed necessary for repairs will be shipped to the consumer at no charge by the JPMEDICS service department.

Consumer Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

Warranties are only valid in the 48 contiguous United States and are continent upon the consumer operating the chair according to the corresponding instruction manual.The warranty only applies to JPMEDICS products and does not include any accessories or enhancements.Field service requires pre-approval and must be performed by JPMEDICS’s authorized field service personnel. Field service is only available in the United States.Softening of foams and filling composites in pillows, pads, and memory foam occurs naturally and does not constitute a defect under this warranty.Fading, wear and piling of fabrics occurs naturally and does not constitute a defect under this warranty.Natural markings, grain and dye variations in leather do not constitute a defect under this warranty.Warranties do not cover any loss or damage resulting from improper installation, unauthorized repairs or modifications, improper use of electrical/power supply, loss of power, dropped product, a malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance, transportation damage, theft, abuse, misuse, neglect, vandalism, or environmental conditions (fire, floods, rust, corrosion, sand, dirt, windstorm, hail, earthquake, or exposure to weather conditions), loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility, or otherwise awaiting parts or repair.Damage due to shipping and handling does not constitute a defect under this warranty.Under no circumstance shall JPMEDICS or its representatives be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (including) damages for lost profits, business interruption, bodily injury, medical, and the like), even if any party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.Warranties are non-transferable and shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for particular use.JPMEDICS’s sole liability and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy shall be for the repair, or at JPMEDICS’s option, for the replacement of the defective part. Commercial Warranty

JPMedics chairs placed in or purchased for a commercial location will require a commercial warranty. A commercial warranty is available for purchase within 30 days of your purchase. Please reach out to a representative regarding Commercial warranty pricing and purchase. 

Note:  The standard Warranty or extended warranty doesn't cover the chairs during commercial use.  

Free Curbside Delivery – Average Shipping Time 7-10 Days

Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight company will deliver your massage chair to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly is required and can take 30-90 minutes, depending on the chair.

Threshold Delivery – Average Shipping Time 7-10 Days

Threshold Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight company will deliver your massage chair inside your home (no stairs) just inside the doorway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly is required and can take 30-90 minutes, depending on the chair.

White Glove Delivery – Average shipping time 10-16 Days

In-Home Delivery and Assembly is the same as White Glove Delivery. Your massage chair will be shipped via Freight to the White Glove Delivery warehouse. They will contact you to schedule a delivery time and date when they receive your order.

The White Glove Delivery team consists of a two person installation team that will deliver (up to 2 flights of stairs), unpack, and install your massage chair in your room of choice. These are not professional massage chair installation experts but a furniture installation team. They may or may not have installed your massage chair model before.two-person
