The digital controller is crucial for keeping the water at the desired temperature. It consistently checks the temperature of the water flowing in, and it requires steady water flow to ensure precise temperature readings. When the water's temperature rises above the set point, the controller turns on the compressor and fan to reduce the water temperature. It turns these components off again once it reaches the desired temperature.

This unit is part of the HE series, which features a larger titanium coil than standard models. This larger coil improves cooling efficiency by increasing both the surface area that contacts the water and the duration of contact, without increasing energy use. Although it uses the same compressor as non-HE models, the HE version achieves better cooling efficiency without requiring more power.
