SunRay Bristow 2-Person Outdoor Traditional Sauna

For durability, the Bristow 2-person outdoor traditional sauna is constructed of aged Canadian hemlock wood and features a shingled roof to protect against the elements. A front window offers additional lighting, while the double-paneled wall construction provides superior heat retention. The 4.5kW electric Harvia heater includes lava rocks and is ample for maintaining temperatures up to 170 degrees.

Additional features include chromotherapy mood lighting, a Bluetooth speaker system, a hygrometer, and a sand timer. A 44-inch wide bench seat makes it a comfortable sauna for two.

FAQs

  • Electrical Requirements: Outdoor traditional saunas require a dedicated 240V circuit for the high heat output of the sauna heater. Refer to the product specification sheet for specific requirements.
  • Ventilation Requirements: Equipped with an air vent in the ceiling to circulate heat and allow moisture to escape when used as a steam sauna.
  • Maximum Temperature: 170°F maximum operating temperature, with a normal range of 160-170°F, depending on outside temperature and placement.
  • Outdoor Sauna Shipping: Shipped via truck freight with curbside and lift-gate delivery. Saunas are packaged on wooden pallets with removable bracing for protection.
  • Outdoor Sauna Warranty: Includes a 7-year structural warranty and a 1-year parts warranty covering electronic components and the electric heater.
  • Outdoor Sauna Electrical: Power cord is attached to the heater but does not have a plug. It must be hard-wired into a junction box or fitted with a plug. Power requirements vary by model.
  • Assembly and Installation: Easily assembled by two adults in approximately 1 hour. No special tools are required.
  • Returns and Cancellations: Returns are allowed within 90 days if in new and resalable condition. Shipping costs are deducted from the refund. A 15% restock fee applies for damaged or non-resalable items.
  • Cleaning Your Outdoor Home Sauna: Clean every 3-4 months using a mixture of baking soda and water. Use an ammonia-based glass cleaner for doors and windows.
  • Outdoor Sauna Origin: Constructed from Canadian Hemlock or Cedar wood. Manufactured in China, distributed in the U.S., and warranty claims handled in Richmond, VA.
  • Outdoor Sauna Specifications: A downloadable specification sheet is available on the product page for detailed sauna kit information.
  • Sauna Heating Time: Takes approximately 30-45 minutes to heat up, depending on outside temperature and sauna size.
  • Sauna Stones: Includes heater stones to radiate heat and create humidity. Do not pour excess water on the stones to avoid heater damage.
  • Sauna Heater Placement: Heater must be placed in a designated cradle and elevated off the floor to ensure proper airflow and prevent fire hazards.
  • Sauna Lighting: Comes with ambient dome lighting. Can be wired to turn off with the heater or separately on its own switch.

SunRay Saunas carry a 7/1 Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. For warranty claims, please complete and detach the warranty registration card below and send it along with a valid sales receipt to the warranty claims department address below. You can also contact our warranty claim department at warranty@sunraysaunas.com.

The 7-Year SunRay Warranty covers the structure of the sauna which includes the wooden sauna cabin and all glass parts.  All parts including electronic parts and heaters have a 1-Year Warranty. 

Warranty claims will only be resolved with the repair of the current product through a parts replacement or shipment of a replacement product. If the warranty claims department determines that the sauna must be returned, it must be returned with a receipt showing date of purchase, purchase price, and the dealer from which the sauna was purchased. No warranty claim will be honored without a receipt. Improper use or installation or damage resulting from acts of nature is not covered under the sauna warranty. No other warranties expressed or implied shall be in effect in lieu of the 7-Year Warranty and no responsibility is assumed for present or future damage due to misuse. SunRay indoor saunas are intended for INDOOR USE. Use of SunRay Saunas indoor models outside will void the warranty.

Do not use lacquers, paints or abrasive cleaners on the sauna. Do not place the sauna on non-approved surfaces or in outdoor applications. Surface cracks are not considered defects in material or workmanship, as they are considered normal characteristics of all wood."
