Chattanooga Shortwave Diathermy Electrode Arm

The Chattanooga shortwave diathermy electrode arm is the articulated arm that carries the applicator and holds it in position over the patient, leaving both of your hands free once the drum is set. Chattanooga builds it as an optional left-hand arm and a matching right-hand arm, so tell us which side of the machine the arm has to reach from and the matching one goes on the order.

The arm belongs to the Intelect SWD100 and to no other Chattanooga diathermy generator. Whether you need one depends on how your SWD100 was configured, so ask us to check the arm against the unit you are quoted before you add it to the order. An electrode is never held in the hands during therapy, so the arm takes the weight of the drum and holds the spacing you set. It is not a consumable, and it carries either inductive drum, the 14 cm round Monode or the 18 x 39 cm Diplode. Output through either drum is the unit's 0 to 100 W continuous at 50 ohm and 0 to 200 W pulsed, at 27.12 MHz.
