Tacx NEO Bike Plus – Outstanding Product, Exceptional Service from RFA
"I’m on my second Tacx NEO Bike Plus purchase from Recovery For Athletes (RFA), and I can confidently say both the product and the company have earned my full trust. I originally purchased the bike in March 2024. When Garmin later identified a safety issue with that production run, RFA was proactive and professional. They coordinated directly with Garmin, arranged retrieval of the bike, and issued me a full refund without friction or delay. They handled every detail. That level of customer service matters, especially on a premium piece of equipment. Once the hardware and safety updates were implemented, I purchased the Tacx NEO Bike Plus again from RFA and it has operated flawlessly. From a performance standpoint, this bike is exceptional. Power accuracy is consistently within ±1%, and it shows. For me, the bike measured +/- 1-2 watts against Favero Duo and Garmin Rally Power pedals during multiple types of riding. Whether doing threshold intervals, sprint work out of the saddle, or steady endurance rides, the data is stable, consistent and trustworthy. For structured training (Erg mode) and online racing (free ride), that precision makes a difference. The ride feel is notably close to being on the road. The virtual flywheel, road-surface simulation, and gradient responsiveness make climbs and accelerations feel natural. Standing and sprinting feels secure and stable. No flex, no wobble. It responds instantly to changes in terrain and power. The Neo Bike's adjustability is very good. You can dial in fit precisely, which is critical for longer sessions. The frame geometry and cockpit configuration allow you to replicate a true road position or TT/Tri position. It’s comfortable for endurance rides and responsive enough for hard race efforts. The platform is flexible and operates with or without external power, and with or without internet connection. It integrates seamlessly with platforms like Zwift, Trainer Road and others. It also works great on its own without external power. The ability to train, race, or just spin for general fitness all on one machine makes it quite versatile. Recovery For Athletes demonstrated integrity and professionalism when the original safety issue arose, and that experience made it easy for me to return as a customer. Their responsiveness, transparency, and customer care stood out."

"I was a little worried buying from them with a few bad reviews that I read. I called them and discussed the poor reviews, they answered all my questions. They had the best price on the Garmin Tacx Neo Plus Bike, ordered it, three days latter it was delivered on a Saturday. It was really easy to adjust the Garmin bike to match that of my gravel bike. I really love the bike, time flys riding the bike using the Tacx riding videos."
