What is a mattress in a box?
A BedInABox® mattress in a box is a high-quality memory foam mattress that is compressed and rolled into a box before
shipping. We developed the technology to compress and roll mattresses in 2006, so that the mattress shopping and
delivery process could be simplified by eliminating the need for in-store visits and traditional mattress delivery. We
offer mattress in a box options in all standard mattress sizes and in firmness levels that support every sleep need.
How long can my mattress stay in the box?
Your BedInABox® mattress should be unboxed upon arrival. However, if you need to wait to unbox your new bed, it can
remain roll-packed and boxed for no longer than 30 days. We ask that you unbox within this timeframe so that you do
not void the warranty.
When can I sleep on my mattress in a box?
Your mattress is ready to go to bed when you are. BedInABox® mattresses are ready to use within minutes of opening.
Will I need to flip my mattress?
No, BedInABox® mattresses are not designed to be flipped. We do suggest rotating your BedInABox® every six months to
prevent uneven wear and to prolong the life of your mattress.
