The 1/4 HP Light Duty chiller hits 39°F minimum — enough for most recovery protocols. The 1/2 HP Heavy Duty pulls to 36°F minimum and recovers faster between sessions, which matters if multiple people in the house use the tub or if you do back-to-back contrast therapy with a sauna.
