Versaclimber FAQs

• What is different from old climber? - The new machine is “connected” whether you get the TS model that comes with it’s own screen or the Bluetooth model that allows you to use your own device, either way you are getting the app experience of the TS on a Home unit.
• Does it have variable resistance? - No, it does not, however that vast majority of VersaClimber workouts are done without resistance and the legendary study proving it burns 160% of other machines was done without resistance.
• Is a vc connect subscription required? - VC Connect is an optional service providing 400 classes on-demand. It is optional and you can join at any time through your TS screen or the VC app on your phone.
• What is the machine’s height? - The H units are shorter than their commercial counterpart. At 7'7" they fit more easily in homes with low ceilings.
• Wifi - how to connect? - The TS runs on Android. To connect to Wifi swipe down from the top of the screen, select Network Settings, and join your home’s wifi network.
• When using my own device, how does it work? What fits? - To use your device you simply spread the side brackets apart and insert your device. Users report that they like the ease of installation, performance, quality and grip. They mention that it’s very easy to install, works fantastic and is a well-made, reliable and functional device. Some appreciate the secure grip and say it holds their tablet perfectly. You can use a phone or tablet that is up to 7.4" wide. For example, and Ipad 10" device fits because it is only 7" wide. (The “size” of your device is a reference to the screen and is measured on the diagonal.) COMPATIBILITY - Compatible with iPhone 15 Pro Max, 14 Plus, 13 12 Pro,11,Xs Max ,Xs, XR, SE, Galaxy S23 and iPad Pro 10.5 Inch, iPad Air Mini and more. Fits 2.7"-3.9" wide phones and 4.2"-7.4" wide tablets.
• When using own device, how connect via bluetooth? - No need to go to settings on your phone. Simply download the app and when you begin your first workout you will be prompted to connect to your machine. After the first workout, your app will auto-connect on future workouts.
• How to connect heart rate? What does it show? - You can use any open Bluetooth heart rate monitor to add your heart rate to your workout. Simply tap the heart icon on the workout screen and the pairing screen will come up. On future workouts, the app will already automatically look to see if that heart rate monitor is present. It remembers devices by the user, so everyone in your family can have a different heart rate monitor. Well, working out will show your current heart rate. Inside your workout history will see your heart rate over time on a graph.
• What are the stats collected on this? - This machine will track and record your total feet time, your speed, stroke length, strokes per minute, resistance level, and calorie burn. If you’re using a heart rate monitor it will add that data as well. All of this is available through charts and graphs which are free on the app and the website at app.versaclimber.com
• Do we charge for access to stats? - Are you crazy? We would NEVER charge you for access to your own data.
• What do the vc connect classes offer? - VC connect offers over 400 classes. From rhythm-based workouts where you move to the music, to HIIT and Tabata classes, to guided routines for strength there are routines to fit every need. We offer them at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
• Family mode? - If you buy the HTS your whole family will be able to have their own account, up to five people, and each person simply needs to tap their name and they will be taken to their personal screen with their workout history. If you have a VC Connect membership then everyone in the family will have access to the classes at the same price.
• Challenges and monuments? - Yes! We offer various vertical challenges and monuments to climb. You will get an on-screen representation of your position relative to the total height of that challenge. It will count down the feet as you ascend to the top. The Apple remember your best times you can always see when you’ve set a new record.
• Climb with friends? - Yes! You can invite friends through the app by entering their cell phone numbers. Once they accept, you will see each other’s total feet for the day and week. You can climb together at the same time, or simply look at their day’s total feet as you do your workout later.
• Vc connect share subscription with household? - Yes! If any member of your family has a VC Connect membership then everyone in the family will have access to the online classes without additional cost.

Warranty

Versaclimber offers a 5-year commercial & lifetime consumer warranty; some conditions & exclusions apply.

VersaClimber is the world's premier vertical exercise equipment machine, and it is backed by the industry’s longest warranty. Unlike our competitors, we provide a lifetime warranty for at home personal, non-commercial space; and a 5-year warranty for commercial use customers. Some conditions & exclusions apply.

1. Heart Rate, Inc. (H.R.I.) warrants to the original purchaser that our VersaClimbers are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance subject to the terms and conditions Hereafter set forth. Except for the above warranty, it is expressly agreed that NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE or of a particular use nor any warranty of any kind whatsoever express, implied or statutory is made by Heart Rate Inc. (HRI)
2. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse, tampering, negligence, accidents, abnormal conditions, lack of adequate maintenance or unauthorized service or alterations to the product.
3. Liability of H.R.I. is limited to either repair or replacement of the defective part or the replacement of the machine at the option of H.R.I. on an exchange basis, with the customer bearing all costs of shipping and handling to and from the factory.

5. During the first year, all labor is covered by the warranty. All labor repairs will be performed at the factory on warranty and non-warranty parts.
6. This warranty does not cover paint deterioration, discoloration, chipping or rust.
7. After all of the foregoing conditions have been complied with, if H.R.I. shall thereupon attempt repairs and /or replacements which shall for any reason fail, H.R.I.'s shall be allowed to continue to attempt to remedy any defects for so long a period of time as, In H.R.I. sole judgment, such attempt is justified.
8. The foregoing shall be the buyer's sole and exclusive remedy, whether based on or otherwise, and H.R.I. shall not be liable for any injuries to persons or property. In no event shall H.R.I. be liable for incidental or consequential damages to commercial losses, nor for any other loss or damages except as above set forth.
9. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, and of all other obligations or liability on the part of H.R.I. No person, firm or corporation is authorized to assume any other liability on behalf of H.R.I.
10. This warranty is non-transferrable from original recipient.

*Consumer use is defined as a personal machine used by a single person or family in a home setting/non-commercial space. Everything else is commercial use.

**Lifetime warranty is non-transferrable from original recipient of the machine.
