Channels cannot be added after purchase, so buy the four-channel unit if there is any chance the room will want four.

All twelve are on the two-channel build and on the four-channel build, and the waveform list is not a reason to choose between them.

The Intelect Legend 2 Ultrasound Applicator comes in 1, 2, 5 and 10 cm2, and the size decides the effective radiating area you dose against. The Legend 2 head is a different part from the Transport 2 head, from the first-generation Intelect TranSport head and from the Vectra head. Each of those four families runs its own applicator series and none of them crosses over, and the heads look close enough in a photograph to be mistaken for one another on a shelf. Order against the machine name and generation printed on the unit you own, and send us the model from the label if it is not clear, so the right head ships the first time.

No. Treat them as separate families: the Legend 2 and Transport 2 heads carry different part numbers and are ordered from different listings. The Transport 2 range also has no 1 cm2 head, where the Legend 2 does, so a four-size family and a three-size family are not interchangeable at any size. Order against the number printed on the head you are replacing.

An optional Li-Ion pack, rated 18.15 V, 3250 mAh and 58.98 Wh and also carried as an 18 V, 3350 mAh unit. It is ordered separately, so it does not arrive in the carton with the machine. The Legend 2 also runs from mains at 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1.0 A.

The unit, its power cord and its documentation. The electrotherapy cart and the optional Li-Ion battery are add-ons on their own order lines, and so are extra ultrasound applicators and coupling gel. Confirm the exact carton contents with us before you order, because the accessory list depends on the configuration you buy.

No. It is a bench unit at 14 x 13.4 in. The optional Chattanooga Electrotherapy Cart attaches magnetically with no tools and measures 48 cm wide, 52 cm deep and 96 cm high at 10.1 kg. The same cart carries the Transport 2, so a clinic running both machines buys one cart design.

The SPS menu reaches a running treatment in three button pushes, 2&Go stores up to 12 preset or custom protocols on the home screen and starts one in two pushes, and an anatomical library carries electrode and applicator placement guidance. The same software runs on the two-channel build and the four-channel build.

Do not use the Legend 2 in pregnancy, over cardiac pacemakers or implantable electronic devices, over cancerous lesions in the treatment area, or over swollen, infected or inflamed areas, and the system is not for use in an MRI or CT environment. Those points are a summary and no substitute for the manual, so read it in full before treating a patient.

Four. A two-channel unit runs one region with two electrode pairs or two regions at once, and the four-channel build doubles that to four pairs across as many as four regions. Both configurations carry the same twelve waveforms at 0 to 140 mA, so channel count is the only thing that separates the two builds. The Legend 2 arrives complete, with all twelve waveforms and the ultrasound section already in the box. The Vectra Neo arrives as a base unit and every modality is a separate module purchase, which is what buys you sEMG and a Class 3B laser option the Legend 2 does not have. Take the Neo when you want sEMG or laser on the same console, and take the Legend 2 when twelve waveforms and four head sizes at 6.8 lb is the whole requirement.
