The Osaki OS-Tao 3D is a 3D massage chair on a full SL-track, and it is the first real step up from a 2D chair in this line-up. Its roller carriage travels forward out of the backrest and back into it on top of the two directions an entry chair has, so depth becomes a setting you choose from the remote. That carriage runs the SL-track from your neck and shoulders, down the length of your spine, past the tailbone and out to your hamstrings, with no break in contact at the lower back. The recline holds three zero gravity stages where an entry chair gives you two, and the chair holds a saved profile for each person who uses it.

The OS-Tao 3D fits users from 4 ft 10 in. to 6 ft 3 in., the one fitting figure most massage chairs leave out, and it reaches both ends of that range two ways. The footrest is spring-loaded and slides out up to 5 in. under the pressure of your own legs, and a computerized body scan reads your shape before each program starts so the rollers land on the right points down your back. Four things separate the OS-Tao 3D from an entry chair: the axis the rollers gain, the profiles it remembers, the range of bodies it fits, and the fact that you can drive it without picking anything up.

The Third Axis

Count the directions the rollers can travel and you have the number in front of the D. An entry chair has two of them, along the track and across it, and the distance from your back never changes. On the OS-Tao 3D the manipulators move vertically and extend from the front to the back of the track, which is the third direction, and speed, intensity and width adjust alongside that depth. A 4D massage chair varies the speed of the in-and-out movement through a single stroke, one rung further up and a rung more expensive with it. Where the third direction earns its keep is a house where one person wants firm work across the shoulders and the next wants the same auto program run at half the depth.

Fifteen auto modes, and their names tell you what the chair was built around. Comfort, Relax, Stretch, Neck and Shoulder, Back and Waist, Full Body, Ancient Beauty Care, Leg and Hip Care, Release Sedentary Stress, Spine Care, President Cosy, Good-Night Sleep, Sport Recovery and Meridian Treatment are among them. Release Sedentary Stress and Spine Care are aimed at desk work, while Sport Recovery and Stretch are aimed at bodies that spend the day moving, and Good-Night Sleep runs at the low end of the intensity range. Under the auto modes sit seven manual styles you can hold on a single point or run across a section: Knead, Tap, Knead and Tap, Shiatsu, Knock, and two graded 3D settings that let you pick how far the rollers protrude. Take the Pillow Out and the Rollers Come Closer

The headrest pillow on the OS-Tao 3D detaches. Leave it in and the contact at your neck and upper shoulders softens. Take it out and the rollers come closer through that section, so the pillow is how you set the firmness at your neck without changing the program you are running. Around it, the chair carries Bluetooth speakers, LED lighting detail, USB charging, a remote controller and a pocket to keep the remote in. Below the seat, the foot section holds three rollers for each foot with reflexology ridges across them, and kneading wheels at the back of the footrest work your heels.

A third axis. A 2D carriage moves along the track and across it, with the depth fixed by the mechanism. The OS-Tao 3D adds movement in and out of the backrest, so the rollers press further toward you or ease back while the program keeps running. On the Tao, speed, intensity and width adjust as well, and all four of those settings are part of what a memory profile stores, so the same auto program comes back firm for you and light for the next person.

From your neck and shoulders to your hamstrings. The OS-Tao 3D runs a full SL-track, which holds the rollers on the curve of your spine and then carries them under the seat, so contact never breaks at the lower back. An S-track finishes where your spine meets the seat, and an L-track reaches beyond that point without following the spinal curve as closely on the way down. The SL-track combines both shapes in one rail, which is why a single pass on the OS-Tao 3D starts behind your neck and finishes past your glutes.

Storing more than one person's settings. The OS-Tao 3D holds multiple memory profiles, so everyone in the house saves their own program, depth and speed and recalls it in one step, with no scrolling back through the menu to find where they left the chair.

This NON-TRANSFERRABLE Warranty is provided by Titan Chair LLC.

We guarantees that your qualified product will be replaced or repaired at our option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty parts, workmanship or structural defects during the first THREE (3) years of ownership, excluding specific limitations contained herein.

What Is Covered*:

This warranty explicitly covers all parts, labor and framework of the chair.
This warranty includes parts costs and labor for the first year at no cost to the customer.
This warranty includes parts costs covered for the second year at no cost to the customer.
Structural Framework on selected products carries for three (3) years.
The additional extended warranties includes parts and labor costs covered at no cost to the customer.

What Is NOT Covered*:

Any shipping expenses incurred. Transportation damage; theft; abuse; neglect; vandalism.
Damages incurred due to shipping and handling, dropped products, improper installation, and/or unauthorized repairs do not constitute a defect under this warranty.
Modifications or altered conditions of the original product, improper use of electrical/power supplies, electrical disturbances and power surges.
Malfunctions due to improper use as well as unreasonable use or maintenance including failure to follow operating instructions.
Any environmental conditions (examples: fire, floods, rust, corrosion, sand, dirt, windstorms, hail, earthquakes, and/or tornados) or any other exposure to weather conditions.
This warranty does not include normal wear and tear including velcro or zipper malfunction, or tears in any fabric covering by abuse. Failures or attached points in stitching, Velcro, and zippers do not constitute as a defect for warranty.
Softening/ hardening of foams and filling composites in pillows and pads; Fading, wear, and pilling of fabrics does not constitute a defect under this warranty as those items naturally change with use.
Natural patterns and grains and variations in leather will not constitute as a defect under this warranty, as no two pieces of fabric are identical.
The warranty shall not apply if the product has been damaged physically, whether intentionally or due accident or neglect: including stains, fluids, mold, water damage, animal damage, cuts, burns or is otherwise unsanitary, damaged or soiled.
Products used in commercial or corporate settings.
Products purchased from unauthorized dealers.
Under this warranty, if a product is determined to be unfixable and requires replacement, the customer is responsible for placing the chair in the garage or another accessible location for the driver to pick up. The returned item must be properly packaged; otherwise, the agent will not be able to pick it up. Upon delivery, the delivery agent will place the chair in the driveway or the nearest accessible area, such as the garage.

Implied Warranty & Other Damages:

Any implied warranties shall be limited to the duration of the 1 year portion of this limited warranty, and with regard to structural framework, limited to the duration of the 3 year portion of this limited warranty.
By making a purchase, you agree that Titan Chair LLC. will not be liable for any items damaged and/or lost while en route to the specified address. Any claims for such loss or damage must be addressed and resolved with the designated carrier.
In no case will Titan Chair LLC. be liable for incidental or consequential damages, whether such damages are claimed on account of breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence or strict/product liability, including without limitation, damage to property (other than the product) or other economic losses.
