Chattanooga Galaxy TTET-400 Traction Table

The Chattanooga Galaxy TTET-400 Traction Table is a four-section traction table built to pair with a traction unit for spinal traction work. A roller-mounted surface under the hips and legs slides with the patient, so friction against the upholstery does not eat into the pull. On gas springs, the head and back section rises to +82 deg and the leg section to 73 deg. A separately articulating 9.8 in. pelvic section sits between them, and the HalloTronic+ System lifts the whole top electrically. Seven upholstery colours are on offer.

The table

How it works

A pelvic section that articulates on its own and a lower surface that slides on rollers set the TTET-400 up for traction.

A pelvic section and a rising leg section

The 9.8 in. pelvic section articulates on its own, and the 47 in. leg section inclines 0 deg to 73 deg with 6 in. of displacement. Hip and knee position becomes something you set on the table before the pull goes on, and something you can change without unbelting the patient.

A lower surface that slides

The section under the hips and legs rides on rollers so it travels with the patient, which keeps friction between the body and the upholstery from taking up part of the pull the head applies. The rolling sections lock, and locked they turn the Galaxy back into an ordinary variable-height couch for manual work between traction cases.

Four sections

Where the pelvic section sits

From the head end: a 23 in. head and back section inclining -10 deg to +82 deg, an 8 in. middle section, a 9.8 in. pelvic section, and a 47 in. leg section that inclines 0 deg to 73 deg and displaces 6 in. All four sections are gas-spring assisted and set by hand, and only the height column is powered, so a treatment room has one thing to plug in.

Frame and height

A scissor frame that stands or rolls

The HalloTronic+ column raises the whole top and drives no individual section. Underneath, the durable scissor frame carries four stationary feet and four retractable multidirectional wheels, for smooth transport between rooms and secure placement during treatment.

Fitment

The head end and the traction platform

The traction head mounts on the platform beyond the head section and does the pulling. The TX unit and the Triton unit are sold on their own, and the Triton DTS unit comes inside the Basic and Advanced accessory packages. Each head needs its own patient interrupt switch in the patient's grasp before it will run. Belting, bolsters, pillows and the flexion stool are ordered separately.
