Everything else is shared, including the scissor frame, the roller-mounted lower surface, the HalloTronic+ column, the 19 to 39 in. height range, the 274 lb table weight and the 103 in. length with the traction platform. If you position hips and knees during traction, buy the 400. If you work supine and prone on a flat lower surface, the 300 does the same job on the same frame.

Different frames for different rooms. The TTET-300 is a 274 lb scissor-frame table with three sections, a 19 to 39 in. height range, a head section reaching +82 deg, a traction platform and a roller-mounted lower surface that slides with the patient. The Triton 6M and Triton 6E are six-section tables on a straight frame at 428 lb and 494 lb, with a 19 to 37 in. column and a traction arm at the head end. The Galaxy rolls between rooms on four retractable wheels; a Triton is installed once and stays where it is put.

Three figures govern the frame and they answer three different questions. Patient weight is 286 lb, and that is the one that describes the person on the cushion. Dynamic lifting capacity is 440 lb, which is what the HalloTronic+ column will raise. Maximum workload is 605 lb, which is what the frame carries in total with the table, the patient, the belting and anything else on it. Size the caseload on 286 lb, and ask us to have Chattanooga confirm it in writing on the quote before you order.

The section under the hips and legs is carried on rollers so it can slide with the patient in prone and in supine. On a fixed top some of the tension the traction head applies is taken up as friction between the body and the upholstery; a surface that travels with the patient keeps that out of the load path, which is the mechanical argument for a rolling traction table. The rolling sections lock, and locked the table works as a plain treatment couch.

At 274 lb it is the lightest of the four Chattanooga traction tables, and it is still a two-person move, with the 103 in. length over the traction platform as the figure that has to clear a doorway.

There is an optional axilla post package for both Galaxy traction tables. It comprises two axilla posts, a yoke on the upper frame and docking elements on the traction arm, and it fixes the patient against the table so the body does not travel during supine traction. Because it includes frame-level fittings it is ordered with the table. We do not stock it. If you need it, tell us before you order and we will point you to a source.

120 V~, 50/60 Hz, max 2 A at 120 V, electrical safety class I, Type B, CE marked under Class I Rule 12. One ordinary outlet runs the HalloTronic+ column, which is the only powered part of the table, so no dedicated circuit comes into the installation.

Black, Graphite Grey, Imperial Blue and Navy Blue are the standing upholstery options, and the colour is fixed when the order is placed, so tell us which one you want at that point.
